This is my whole point of the thread.

Cave of Plunder, HMC certified and attended by many Muslims (I think the staff and owners are all non Muslim too, but I'm not sure, I've only been once, and my last)

Certified as Halal by Daywalk3rs "Hazrat" just by attending there. Hmmm.

Not everything is Halal there.

Check this out

It's HMC plus HARAM, be careful!

I guess its like many other HMC certified places....especially butchers. i.e. ONLY the fresh meat/poultry is halal...a number of the frozen/chilled meat and poultry items in HMC certified butchers arent HMC certified and are products from quite doubtful/questionable companies.

Ill be going CoP again this weekend for their BOGOHP pizza offer :-) 

p.s. actually Sweet Choice is the one my Hazrat eats at so please lay off him….him having opened and run many large edaaras, many a jahil change their lives to noorani lives because of him . Ulama a haqq he is. Big timer and all that chillzle ....

I don't think After's is a meant to be Halal. It might be, but anyways, they also have Haram Milkshakes. Again the point is that the Muslim public need to know.

Is this the one? If so, your Hazrat eats where they serve Haram Milkshake too. By the way, they are closed for renovation :)

Any other place this Hazrat goes to, I need to know who my mates are:)

Whats with the 786, its even in the number. Oh, hold on, that must really make it halal

Afters and Sweet Choice (SC) both arent certified by any halal certifier....however as Afters is v.v.v.close to my Hazrat's place he eats at (i.e SC) i guess his noornani presence at SC is sufficient to render the neighbouring places also Halal as his tawqa and status wont allow him to go anywhere near even makrooh places. Job done.

I just spoke to someone on the number and he said they were shut for renovation.

See, I'm trying to track your Hazrat down :)

Are Skittles Halal or Haram?

UK Skittles contain E120 which is Haram

E120 is Cochineal, Carmine, Carminic acid (E120)

Carmine is the name of the colour pigment obtained from the insect Dactylopius coccus (old name Coccus cacti), that lives on cacti from the genus Opuntia. The insect is native to tropical South and Central America and produces the pigment as a deterrent against other insects. The pigment can be obtained from the body and eggs of the insect. It is still used as an organic ant-repellent.

This is a Haram ingredient in this product and not suitable for vegetarians

Grilled 66 also HMC certified sell m&m's milkshake. They have been told that it is haram but the conversation sounded like it wasn't understood unfortunately. InshaAllah a personal visit by someone may help.

I draw the same conclusion of what I said previously in an older thread' "Why I found an HMC certified restaurant to be HARAM"

Yes yes yes we all know that HMC only certify the meat and poultry, but that defeats the object.

If there is to be a huge banner outside telling everyone that the place is HALAL, then EVERYTHING should be HALAL.

Most Muslims will order anything without any doubt and assume it's all HALAL.

As Muadh once said, "The whole experience needs to be halal"

Personally, if a halal label is to be put up, then EVERYTHING should be HALAL.

personally i feel HMC certified butchers should make it clear via clear and easy to see signage (i.e. displayed next to the yellow HMC stickers on the front shop window as well as certificates behind/near the till) that only fresh meat and poultry are certified by them (i.e. frozen meat and frozen poultry items are not certified as well as other other food items sold within the premisis) and also at certified restaurants make it clear only meat and poultty products are certified by them (i.e. milk shakes, ice creams, sweet dishes, sauces, marinades, dips, drinks etc are not certified as well as ALL other other food items sold within the premisis). That for me personally is sufficient.

The certificate already states that its only the meat and poultry.

Whats the point of having the halal certificate if people will go in blindly and buy anything because the halal sign is actually a beacon telling them "Hey, I'm Halal, eat here" Automatically everything is halal.

Although I agree with you even though we maybe wrong, for me too, it is sufficient to know how the meat and poultry is. The rest is down to me as an individual.

Maybe an alternative HMC/Halal certificate. Something along the lines of:

Halal with Haram elements!

Of course NO ONE will ever put that up, because its bad for business right. Defeats the object right?
