[25:63] The servants of the Rahman (the All-Merciful, Allah) are those who walk on the earth humbly, and when the ignorant people speak to them, they reply peacefully.

We should take advantage of modern technology and use it to spread authentic knowledge. The internet is a brilliant tool for da'wah as well. If you are saying this is not the case, and that it is, in fact, a sinful bid'ah and therefore not permissible, then bring your proof. How many great scholars, even from the so called 'Salafi' school, are using the internet and other means for beneficial purposes? Fatawa sites, uploading of lectures, writing articles. I take it they are all guilty of perpetrating a bid'ah as well?

The main thing we should abstain from and beware of, as 'laymen', is quoting our own opinions when it comes to religious rulings and complex matters. Unfortunately, there are many keyboard mufti's out there.

If you look over this site you will see that majority of the material is quoted directly from the reliable scholars. Even the first post was from a lecture by Shaykh ul Hadeeth Riyadh Ul Haq (HA).

Please keep the language Halal otherwise Guests (good or bad, will be stopped from posting on such topics) and you could be banned.

With regards to the hat/topi, according to Shaykh Albani رحمة الله عليه, it is a must to wear it.

"And my view is that, surly the performing of Salaah bareheaded is Makrooh. This is because everyone agrees on the fact that it is Mustahab for a Muslim to begin his Salaah with the most complete appearance due to the Hadeeth:

Can Admin confirm if this Guest is the same Guest-234481, because it looks like he/she is making a post and then replying to it. See posts on first page at 14:51 and then the very next post at 15:12 and again a couple of posts above with bad language.

If so, this guest is only here to create fitnah and should be banned.

I agree. Last warning and this guest will be banned from posting (whether as guest or a member). In fact, as this category is The Straight Path, we will get people bent on Fitnah and mayhem such as this guest so I have disabled guest posts on this category. You can register and post if you have any dignity in your statements. Wassalam

Blog post - Fiqh made easy

FIQH FIXED

The Complex work of Fiqh made easy, InshaAllah

We have the Quran, We have the Hadith, We have the actions of the Sahaba, We have eyewitness accounts, We have The Khulafa e Rashedeen, We have the Greatest of Ulama to walk the face of the earth, We have millions of narrations, We have millions of questions, We have millions of issues, We have millions of Answers. We have One Allah, We have One Quran, We have One Prophet Muhammad (saw), We have One Deen, Islam. We are All Muslims

From all of the above the, The Sahaba, Tabi'een, Tabe Tabi'een, Fuqaha etc have taken rulings and Masa'il in the light of The Quran & Sunnah. Each and every Masa'il links to another Masa'il, each and every Masa'il has its origin and source, every Masa'il is derived from a fixed set of rules. Each rule, each Masa'il coincides with the next rule, then with the next rule then with the next rule and so on. With every Masa'il in place with its rules and how it got there and why it is the closest opinion, is all combined and working in perfect harmony to the Way of The Prophet (SAW).

Each of the four schools of Fiqh have many complex rules which have been derived from thousands of different evidences, which all intermatch with every ruling from within that school.

We have The Hanafi school, the Shafiee school, the Maliki school, and the Hanbali school. Each of these schools have taken The Quran, Hadith, Actions of the Sahaba and so on and arranged their schhols to coincide with all of them. Each Mas'ala is backed with strong evidences, each Mas'ala moves on smoothly to the next Mas'ala and so on.

These schools of fiqh have been around for more than 1000 years. All the Great Scholars of Islam Have followed one of them.

Lets take a look at how complex fiqh is and what it might look like inside these four schools.

Some claim that you should take out the strongest opinion from them and follow that way, but this will lead to confusion for the Mas'ala of Fiqh, just like the Cogs of a clock, they all match one after the other and work perfectly. If you try to be clever and take out all the opinions and then form your own fiqh then nothing will fit in place, you will have some Mas'ala that will contradict another Mas'ala. Your Deen, Iman, Aqeedah will be in a total mess. You will start to follow what suits your needs and ways. This will lead to SHIRK.

The above can be seen as the complex work of the four schools of thought.

[h]What happens if you try to find the strongest opinion[/h]

You cant put it back, you or any one today doesnt have the knowledge to do it
As you can see, once you start taking out the Masa'il of fiqh and the evidence used for it and then try to pick another Masa'il of fiqh, you can not put every thing back to work in perfect harmony. One Masa'il of fiqh will not coincide with another Masa'il of Fiqh.

The other that can happen is that you will end with "Scholars for Dolars"

The four schools of Fiqh have been tried, tested and accepted by the Greatest of Scholars, no matter how big they were.

InshaAllah, The safest thing to do is follow one school. Every thing will work perfectly. Your every day routine will match with all the laws and rules every day for ever, no complications, no contradictions. Just like Clock work.

All you will need to do is keep on ticking.

READ. UNDERSTAND. PERFECT IT. DONT MESS WITH YOUR DEEN.

DONT PICK AND CHOOSE, YOU COULD BE DOING SHIRK.

Abu al-Darda' (Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) said,

"Scholars are the inheritors of the prophets." [Related byTirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Nasa'i, Ibn Maja, Ahmad, Ibn Hibban, and others] Ibn al-Mulaqqin, Zayla`i, Ibn Hajar, and others seemed it sound (hasan) or rigorously authentic (sahih)]

When Fudayl ibn Iyad (Allah be pleased with him) heard this hadith, he commented, "The people of spiritual wisdom (hukama') are the inheritors of the prophets," [Ibn Nu`aym, Hilyat al-Awliya, 8.92] explaining the nature of knowledge that is ultimately sought.

Imam al-Ayni (Allah have mercy on him) explained in his commentary on Sahih al-Bakhari, Umdat al-Qari (2.39) that this hadith is inspired from the words of Allah Most High, "Then We gave the Scripture as inheritance unto those whom We elected of Our servants." [Qur'an, 35.32]

Alhamdulillah I've studied many books but when I dont understand any hadis or fiqhi issue I always go to my ulama ikram n when the matter of amal comes I dont trust my own understanding of deen n take the guidance of my ulama ikram.
If someone asks me of any rulings which even I know, I make a call to my elders to re confirm it prior to telling him.
