I had a conversation with a good, sincere American Brother after 9/11 and some of the shenanigans of American Muslims and he said, “Some of us have our kids, our wives, our daughters, ours Sisters, our mothers here and we are scared. What do you want us to do? I was born in this country, I didn’t come here, I didn’t have a detailed Fiqh discussion about Darul-Harb vs Darul-Amaan and then chose to come to Darul-Harb! I had no choice but I was here. Then, at this point I don’t know any other language, I have no skills to emigrate elsewhere, I can’t settle in Pakistan…I can’t settle in Middle-East because my skin is Pakistani but my tongue knows no Urdu so I will be laughed at by both Arabs and Pakistanees because I don’t fit into either category THAT IS when I am able to get a job and get a VISA to actually go to the Middle-East. What exactly do people want 8 million Americans to do?

As Brother Maripat put it, same can be applied to 170+ million Muslims of India? What do Muslims of Pakistan want them to do? Let’s suppose that tomorrow 170+ million Muslims of India decide to abandon their properties, their livelihood, erase and their life and emigrate to Darul-Islam (of Pakistan).

1. Would people of Pakistan be able to accommodate that?
2. Would people of Pakistan even allow that?

Some people have lived there generation after generation for 800 years, what do you want them to do?

Europe perhaps has around 25+ million Muslims, what do you want them to do?

Even if you subscribe to the Darul-Harb vs Darul-Islam dichotomy fair enough; what is the solution?

Let’s say someone does become a vigilante and kill someone who blasphemes, OK (1 guy down) and you now have billions on your back provoking you through social media, print and on TV mocking Nabi (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) in retaliation (take a good look at what’s happening)…Race relations turn sour overnight and now you have significant National Front or BNP or UKIP or whatever representing you, what do you think the legislations will be? So have you actually solved the problem of blasphemy or exasperated it?

We have GOT to understand something!

1. We don’t live in a Shariah state
2. We don’t live in a fair society
3. We don’t live in an equal society
4. We don’t live in a society which has morals and ethics based on Qur’aan & Sunnah
5. We don’t have the power or the authority to enforce our views; rather we are weak

BUT

• We live in a society which has some semblance of freedom
• The price of having a Mosque in your neighbourhood is to tolerate the Qadiyani template 5 streets away
• The price of having the freedom to remove your 10 year old daughter from sex education is to have 21 year olds lip-locked at a shopping mall
• The price of being able to pray at work is to tolerate the Bias of the media
• We do have avenues open to protest and we do have avenues to pursue to at least minimise some of these insults but the LONG ROAD is painful (requires patience) and not 100% effective because at the end of the day there will always be incidents.

The recent “BJP Gharwapsi” campaign is pretty intelligent. They want a law banning “religious conversions in India”, you know why? Because it’s mostly Hindus who convert so they up’ed the ante and created a problem in India and then (some) are asking for an Anti-conversion law.

They can ban religion, religious symbols, and religious places of worship or constrict all of them then you will have problems with Halal meat, Hijab etc.

The solution from our Ulama is COMPLETE SILENCE on these topics which leaves us to bicker on forums
