We have always heard about the hardships of Prophet Mohammed (SAW) and the Sahaba but we might have never gone to the extent of experiencing it. We usually listen in speeches, drop few tears and just move on. We might have never thought, what would be the state of their heart and mind when they were going through such hardships.
Alhamdulillah last 2-3 months were a blessing to me. I have gone through the worst part of my life in worldly sense for people but in terms of Deen, I began to feel that I am experiencing the next level of Emaan. There were lot of difficulties in business which not only impacted my life but even my family. While there was no loss in business alhamdulillah but there was immense pressure from clients and few lenders because of delays in payments. The pressure was that if something goes wrong, then there was higher chance of millions of business going down.
While our life hardships are no way compared to the sacrifices of Sahaba, but I got a glimpse on how it was to be like in those highest end of hardships in life.
Quote:
The experience was that though there are worldly tensions, but the moment you stand in namaz, you forget everything surrounding you. The relationship with Allah only grows stronger as the hardships increase and the connection is something like there is only Allah and you in this world and no one else. There is actually pleasure in experiencing those hardships for the sake of Allah and being Patient. If you are never tested by Allah, then you will never know the true love of Allah.
Surely Allah tests those whom he loves. May Allah forgive our sins, accept our repentance and keep us steadfast on the deen. Please forgive me if I have shared anything wrong.
JazakAllahu Khairan
