Here in India, a piece of land is owned by the Masjid management committee.
Does the whole land is a masjid?
No.
There are
Toilets, Parking lots, Madrasah, Staff quarters for Imam, Muazzin and other staff, Library, Islamic Center for non-muslims, School, Shops, Offices, Teaching section for ladies; both religious and also teaching them for their livelihood; like, Tailoring, Computer, Embroidery, Arts and Crafts.
Even Basement of Masjid is used for other activities.
And;
A marked prayer hall for men is Masjid.
And I hope that I am correct when I say that Ladies visiting other places owned by the Masjid management except the marked prayer hall are not visiting Masjid.
Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The entire earth has been made a place of prayer (masjid) except for the graveyards and the bathroom.”
Source: Sunan At-Tirmidhi 317
Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Ibn Taymiyyah
This privilege is confined to this ummah that we can pray the salah anywhere except these 2 places as other ummah of the past prophets a.s had to pray the salah ONLY in masjid;
Here what Br ahmad sharif refers to is the specific place for salah where people can pray 5 times salah.
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
