Behind her is an image of the devil with a halo around it's head and its arms stretched out to the sides while Madonna wears an eye patch marked with an X on her left eye.
At some point the dancers are wearing full respiratory face facemasks.
The background shows a symbolic scorched earth.
It looks more like a ritual than a music performance.
I didn't scrutinise the whole performance, but I'm sure there will be other examples of symbolism.
An artiste who is drawn to kabbalah. Wouldn't read too much into it. It's like other entertainers following the fad of the day in the sincere hope of finding meaning in their lives.
