Firstly we got the Youtube guys who post pranks and jokes and other strange stunts on Youtube.
They have developed a cult world wide following amongst Teenage Hijab wearing Sisters who seem to be obsessed with them... When these Jokers are criticised by those involved in Dawah for their Unislamic behaviour these Sisters rush too defend their Heroes.
Secondly We Got young Brothers who are not Scholars posting reminders which is good for the youth but also posting on issues they are not qualified in, when they are corrected by those who are older. They stubbornly stick too their positions these guys have a cult following amongst the youth especially young Brothers who seem to prefer these Brothers over real Scholars or Students of Knowledge and again rush to defend them.
Then we have Celebrity Scholars who have developed a Cult following and are popular amongst those in the age groups of Twenties and Thirties, these people give preference to these Celebrities over more accomplished and Older Scholars who are specialists in various fields and have spent decades in the study and service of the Deen.
Then we have Brothers who have setup youtube channels who share the Audio clips and reminders of Older Scholars but practice deception and post strange pictures on the cover of those videos to get people to click on to those videos.... To give an example one Brother posted photo-shopped pictures of various Indian actresses wearing Hijab with titles such as "Deepika Padukone accepts Islam Story By Maulana Tariq Jameel" " Katrina Kaif Accepts Islam Story by Maulana Tariq Jameel" and so on and so forth and when one listens to the videos, the lectures are nothing to do with those personalities or any mention of them the dawah method of his entire channel is based on this method.
In a similar vain we have Brothers with youtube channels when their are lectures on issues of lack of Haya, modesty, ironically post pictures of sisters who are immodestly dressed to attract people to those videos, when the talk is of harms of Zinah they will post pictures of young couples holding hands or embracing each other, Etc strange thing is these guys seem to think they are doing Dawah.
Then of-course the most common one is the fact the comments section is not moderated or disabled on the vast majority of Islamic Channels resulting in non-muslim Trolls making the most disgusting and vulgar and filthy comments regarding ALLAH and His Beloved
and you find that in the comments section of virtually every Video...!
I have not even touched on the Modernists, and so-called progressive muslims many who are developing a following because of their Social activism.
ALLAH help us ...This world of Social media is getting more and more strange year by year, and the authentic Scholars the elders are passing away year by year....Very few people capable of filling their shoes.
Instead we got this Bizarre world of youtube taking over.
