Islam and Muslims on Youtube are getting more and more Bizarre by the day.

Firstly we got the Youtube guys who post pranks and jokes and other strange stunts on Youtube.
They have developed a cult world wide following amongst Teenage Hijab wearing Sisters who seem to be obsessed with them... When these Jokers are criticised by those involved in Dawah for their Unislamic behaviour these Sisters rush too defend their Heroes.

Secondly We Got young Brothers who are not Scholars posting reminders which is good for the youth but also posting on issues they are not qualified in, when they are corrected by those who are older. They stubbornly stick too their positions these guys have a cult following amongst the youth especially young Brothers who seem to prefer these Brothers over real Scholars or Students of Knowledge and again rush to defend them.

Then we have Celebrity Scholars who have developed a Cult following and are popular amongst those in the age groups of Twenties and Thirties, these people give preference to these Celebrities over more accomplished and Older Scholars who are specialists in various fields and have spent decades in the study and service of the Deen.

Then we have Brothers who have setup youtube channels who share the Audio clips and reminders of Older Scholars but practice deception and post strange pictures on the cover of those videos to get people to click on to those videos.... To give an example one Brother posted photo-shopped pictures of various Indian actresses wearing Hijab with titles such as "Deepika Padukone accepts Islam Story By Maulana Tariq Jameel" " Katrina Kaif Accepts Islam Story by Maulana Tariq Jameel" and so on and so forth and when one listens to the videos, the lectures are nothing to do with those personalities or any mention of them the dawah method of his entire channel is based on this method.

In a similar vain we have Brothers with youtube channels when their are lectures on issues of lack of Haya, modesty, ironically post pictures of sisters who are immodestly dressed to attract people to those videos, when the talk is of harms of Zinah they will post pictures of young couples holding hands or embracing each other, Etc strange thing is these guys seem to think they are doing Dawah.

Then of-course the most common one is the fact the comments section is not moderated or disabled on the vast majority of Islamic Channels resulting in non-muslim Trolls making the most disgusting and vulgar and filthy comments regarding ALLAH and His Beloved (saw) and you find that in the comments section of virtually every Video...!

I have not even touched on the Modernists, and so-called progressive muslims many who are developing a following because of their Social activism.

ALLAH help us ...This world of Social media is getting more and more strange year by year, and the authentic Scholars the elders are passing away year by year....Very few people capable of filling their shoes.
Instead we got this Bizarre world of youtube taking over.

Bismillah.

Just come across a fairly elaborate hoax.

In a nutshell a young "muslim" couple became Social media sensations.

The guy practiced Ruqya wore Islamic garb and his wife wore Niqab and abayas.

They were present everywhere on Youtube, instagram... Presenting themselves as a cute muslim couple with family videos everywhere, who also performed Ruqyah in order to help people...with millions of followers on Social Media.

It is now come to light they were scam artists and fraudsters. They were both muslims who became atheists at one point .... when they came up with the idea of scamming muslims...( Although both allegedly returned to the deen at some point)

The woman in question also had seperate accounts under different names and pretended to be a practicing Muslimah on her Islamic Social media accounts she always wore Niqaab...On her other accounts she posted photos of herself doing modelling work.

They were using the money to live a partying and clubbing lifestyle... Raised money and donations for fake charity and Ruqyah services...to the tune of £350,000 which contributed to their rock n roll lifestyle.

For Ruqyah services they were charging upto £400....The guy has also been alleged to have been a predator and behaving inappropiately towards, young women who came to use his fake services...!

We need to protect our children from social media influencers. Every child has a smart device in their hand and all they do is watch YouTube vlogs, snapchat and Instagram stories. The list of social media Muslim celebrities is endless and our kids are watching them.

It was easy to protect them from television because there used to be only one TV in the house and limited number of channels but nowadays every Tom, dick and harry has set up their own YouTube channels.

I fear for our next generation.

Their videos were cringe. How can a man with an ounce of geerah would post videos of his wife on social media even if she is in niqab. Private moments that should be between couples was aired on social media. But we know now that they were living a double life.

Finally, from what angle did he look like that he could do ruqyah. I pity the people that paid him but dont have any sympathy for them if they fell for some guy from Instagram.

I remember when YouTube came out. We used to watch top 10 goals, wickets, cars etc and felt like we were wasting our time... but now it has changed for worse.

Just found about these people yesterday Allah protect our next generation.

We shall probably see many more such individuals being exposed...until people become totally desensitised to all this. Rather then being out of the ordinary such things will probably be the norm, in the near future.

With the right guidance and right attitude and correct way of explainng to kids, we can stop it within the household in the least.

For all those sisters out there who post private pics on instagram etc "You are fooling yourselves"

I came across a sister who had private access to a another sister (with permission) and she would share photos without her hijab etc, training in their sports activities etc etc but what the poor sister didn't know is that her friend sits with her husband/brother/kids/friends and they ALL see these so-called private moments.

And if you know they are doing these things, why make it private? Who are you fooling?

Since this topic is to do with YouTube, then same thing there too.

You can upload personal videos and keep them private, share them with your close relatives, but they too watch with others and share with others.

STOP DOING IT!

As per my previous comment NOTHING and i mean absolutely NOTHING surprises or shocks me regarding the ummah. I really don't knw why this hss come as a shock. Up till yesterday i had never heard of these charlatans ( maybe im a dinosaur and need to join social media) but what gets me is why would Muslims feel the need to have these role models. U never understood this 'like' 'follow' and 'influencers' business.

Few lessons iv learnt and some have been stated before

Never take social media celebrities as role models. I even avoid scholars who have cult and celebrity status such as mufti menk ( ps i have nothing against him nor heard anything to put anyone off) its just a principle i have. Shaykh Riyadh ul haq did a talk about 15yrs ago in Stamford Hill which he said n quoted hadith about follow only those who have now gone. Their fate is known but as for ones who are alive who knows their ending.

Ruqya- shaykh Riyadh also many many years ago mentioned how many times its a physcolocal or mental issue rather than jinn and people been exploiting this for years.. When people need job they grow a beard and do ruqya. I think he even mentioned one guy was a decorator by profession and when he got old he grew a beard and became a 'raaqi'. Jinn issue is one thing I really wish Allah saves me from as i honestly don't trust anyone when it comes to ruqya. If i ever had to deal with it il rather let nature tkae its cause n pray Allah removes it than risk going to a charlatan.

Lastly we all need to be thankful of this imaan. Easy to point fingers and laugh but apostasy is a real issue even among the so called 'religious'. We guard our money and possessions but when it comes to imaan we walk around if Allah given us a WhatsApp message confirming our place in firdous.

Ramadan has gone and i talk about myself first and foremost are we reading quran still or is it collecting dust till next Ramadan? Has our tahajjud gone? Our nawafil? If so what good did Ramadan do us.

As for the people in question I don't know why people want to expose their private sins. All we need to expose about them is the unaccounted money and the apostasy /ruqya. Who they slept with or clubbed is not our concern. We becoming like them kaafir gossip chat shows and magazines tryna find out every last detail. Allah has exposed and humiliated them let it go now.

Final thought. Even though mufti menk had no idea who them fools were about why still pose with them? They not daees or scholars or fam. They literally famous for being famous like kuffar reality tv people. Him posing with them just encourages this kind of rubbish. Imagine those who are his real fans listening to all his stuff snd and love him but never get to even shake his hand now see he visited online celebs. Its jus gana lead them to try become famous so they can meet other famous people. Sad state of affairs. Pray Allah saves me my family and future generations from falling for this. Imagine what damage dajjal will do to us if he arrived tomorrow. Hope im desd before he comes and tries to steal wotevrr little imaan i have

Some more things about social media and state of ummah

It seems as if those who have invented these apps and websites somehow read the hadith of the Prophet (saw) and kind of challenged him in doing the opposite. I recall a hadith along the lines ' perfection/beauty of one's character is he leaves that which don't concern him'. YouTube in particular has thrown this out the window. Evryone seems to be experts in every field and feel obliged they have to comment even if they lack basic understanding. Fair enough with stuff like sports or elections i can understand layman commenting on last night's game or who they think will br next pm but when it comes it Islamic sciences and fatawas its a joke what people say.

Two days ago i never heard of this couple but i was sent some stuff and curiosity got better of me so i typed their names in youtube ( i didn't watch any video per se) just saw they had 100s but wot caught my attention was a title of a video ' having relations during Ramadan' i read the description n they wer givin fatawas and quoting hadith as if they know topic back of hand. Dnt want to pick on them as there are far worse idiots who barely speak arabic yet want to do refutation videos of likes of abu hanifa and hakeem ul ummah etc

Another issue is those picture sharing apps. Islam warns us about evil eye and not to brag but these apps do the complete opposite. Then they wonder why the blessings suddenly end.

Third one which I guess i am guilty off too despite not having an account on social media is the amount of time wasting. I still use it to find out news and what is going on but end up reading silly threads of jaahil Muslims having heated debates usually about polygamy feminism and whos a sellout lol.

I wouldn't be surprised if the people who made all this apps and site never actually is it themselves.

Allah save me and the ummah.

They created these things to waste our time and resources.

Watch/listen to the videos where these CEO's admit on their prime objective.

Amazing insight.

Your post makers sense if understood.

After reading the Dopamine thread, read your post again.

Your words will make more sense to you :)
Unless of course your subconscious mind is typing away what it wants to believe and you don't have a clue :( the Dopamine effect made you overlook it.
