The last few days have been very strange in pakistan. Tahir ul qadri has come for his legendary march. He was stopped by the gov, flight diverted, his workers were killed etc...what's the score???

There seems to be a lot of issues in Pakistan between the military and the government. Qadri seems to have put his eggs in with the military and his supporters are paying the consequences. Still would be political suicide to start firing on minhaj workers...so what gives? Muadh khan any idea bro?

Is this scholar a Sufi or a Barelwi?

I've been advised by members from TJ at my local masjid one should not listen to his lectures.

I'm merely wanting to clarify before anyone has a loose cannon.

The fatwa is quite biased. I think he's delivered some fine seremons.

Stay away from Padri

Also he's been discussed to death on SF

I actually spoke to a friend the other day about this who is pro brelvi and used to be a big fan of padri. According to him and a few others they're saying that Padri hasn't got nothing to do with the killings, it's just that some of his supporters took things out of proportion. They knew the police would come in to remove the illegal stops/checkpoints they had made (something like that ) which they refused to remove, they even planned to throw stones at them from the roofs where they had collected loads of big rocks, so when they started messing about with the police, the police in retaliation opened fire and a few were killed.

I'm not a fan of his, but I've watched a few clips of him on YT in Urdu. They were pretty good. One was about Ghadir and the other one was Abu Bakr (RA).

He's knowledge no doubt and he has his proofs too, but he's made some huge blunders as well and don't forget that he's a biddati.

-In one of his vids he claimed to be a student of Imam Abu Hanifa in alame arwah I think and took an oath on it too lol.

-In another he's seen talking to a grave and telling the deceased to read the Kalima, then making some claims alongside it.

-He goes to Pakistan, takes out rallies and then claims he's from the Hussaini army when he's inside chilling inside his VIP cabin, when his supporters mostly women and kids are standing in the freezing cold with banners etc

- Then comes the issue of his famous dreams and the need to book an extra ticket on the plane for Rasoolalah (saw) etc, I won't even bother to go into this one as there's many other blunders. The list goes on.

I know/have known many who rate him due to his knowledge but when you mention the above pointers to them, more than likely that will go quiet, works every time.

So does Zakir Naik have some great video clips on YouTube.

I've heard some excellent speeches by the Shia in praise of Ali رضي الله عنه

I've listened to a lecture by the Qadyani clown.

They all spoke some truth, in fact throughout the talks, they would have spoken the whole truth... But do we justify them or support them, or do we warn people about the real deal?

Stay away from him brother. He doesn't even know the Hanafi Fiqh, yet he claims that Imam Abu Hanifa has been teaching him Fiqh for the last 20 years.

Do you want me to go on, or is that enough to keep you rolling.

Shias and Qadiyanis are Grade A kaffirs. There is a big difference.

Dr Zakir Naik rocks, I listen to him regularly on matters of comparative religion. I'm a huge fan.

If what you're saying is true about him then I'll certainly consider giving him a miss.

Jazak'Allah bredrins.
