I was talking to a brevalite over the weekend and he was bigging up Tahirul Qadri.

I dont know who this guy is but have done some searchs on google to get a general idea of who he is, but does he speak sense? is he a brelvi?

Dr.tahir ul qadri is not a barelvi, he never in his life said that he is barelvi,in fact he islam muslim first,and regarding his aqidah he is sunni hanafi (sawad-e-azam), he is against all kind of sectarianism.

ok, your a guest so i cant take your word for it, you could be a brevalite your self........and not know it!!

and generally not all brevalites either know they are a brelvi or dont admit it....for political reasons.

most brelvis also follow the hanafi fiqh with a twist (nafs).

If any of the moderators can shed light on this that would be great.

It funny how you people have a twisted views of Hanafis and Sunnis.

Is Tahir-ul-Qadri a Barelvi or not? That is your major concern...... As I can read from your websites forums and Q&A, you beleive the Barelvies to be a heretical group. Let me tell you the truth, and I hope you have the stomach to digest. It is not the Barelvies who follow their Nafs, but rather it is you the Deobandis who change deen to your own liking. Taking all the foul smelling Aqidahs of the wahhabis and making them your own. Every filthy litte idea that comes to your head. Attacking the Prophet (Alaihis Salawat As Salam) from any angle that you can think of. Be it his light, be it his knowledge, be it his miracles, be it his beauty, be it his parents, be it his birth, be it his children, be it his Sahaba, be it his Ummah. On every single step of the way! you who call your selves Muslims and followers of Sayyiduna Rasool Allah (Alaihis Salawat As Salam), yet you have no love for him in your hearts, and until his love does not exceed the love you have for your wealth, your parents, wives, children and everything else, you can not become a believer. I urge you, if you want to find out the thruth to study Islam, try to make room for it in your heads. Read what the real Ulema have written. Dont follow the bogus Deobandi Ulema, who didnt even exsist before 150 years ago. If you claim to follow Imam Abu Hanifa, ask the Hanafies of Sham (Syria) and Turkey, what are their beliefs? Are they like yours or the Barelvies? Ex. what do they think about celebrating Milad un Nabi? You may even ask the Shafies of Sham, what their beliefs are? What do they say about celebrating Milad un Nabi? What does Imam Sayuti say? The very Imam that is the source of Tafseer knowledge in your Madrassas?

So please you deobanies/wahhabies think, use your head!!!! Allah has given you one, and it is supposed to be used, using it is not Shirk!

Dear guest,

I dont know why your going on a long one about milad and stuff, i suppose this is the same story that happens every year during this month.

No member of this site has ever attacked the beloved Prophet Sallalahu allaihi wassalam. but meerly have stated facts from the Quran and Hadith, which have no mention of this extra day of celebration. Nor have the Sahabas, tabaieen or tubbeh-tabaineen have ever celebrated the the milaad.

Had there been a clear example of any of these scholars of islam performing such actions (milad) then we would gladly join in.

Islamically were are not suppose to celebrate our birthdays so why would the best of muslims (sahabas) go against the teachings of Rasoollallah Sallalahu Alaihiwasallam and celebrate it. So why are people of this day and age doing it?

I only asked about tahirul qadri because i dont know anything about him, and whether it is safe for me to listen to his bayaans....... why you decided to attack learnered members of this site is a problem you need to solve your self, without cussing people as you will no doubt be held accountable. also a point to note is that i posted this..... so what fault is it of the administrators and moderators of this site. This section is called 'discussion' for a reason, not 'verbal' attack or 'express your propaganda and lies.'

Majority of the scholars from south asia have graduated from deoband or from institutions who have originated from deonband scholars.

Also beoband is meerly a place to study and graduate from. Not a training camp which creates 'ghustakeh rasools,' like most silly people have spead lies about.

Unfortunately the biddahs have come in to our lives so much that children have grown up to believe that its part of islam now.

Nothing wrong in questioning things to gain more knowledge, you cant just willynilly follow what everyone does cos everyone likes to think their a scholar now, thanks to shiekh google....

Whoever uses this site as a source of knowledge can be rest assured that the moderators are all muftia iqraams, Allah fearing and all lovers of Rasoollallah Sallalahu Alaihiwasallam.

May Allah give you hidayat and clean your mind of the filt and lies it may contain.

Salaam, I am currently in Pakistan and getting very angry by the state of thje people here.

I must admit, I have seen the same thing in India too. Really sick.

Any way, Tahirul Padri is not of Ahle Sunnah wal Jammat in my opinion,he is of the Barelwi school.

Gotta go, this country is limited to Deen and electricity, the power will go out in a bit.

Tahir ul qadri is power hungry guy he is not bothered what Pakistan is doing to fight terrorism , he is bringing terror of his own. He is very informed about Islam so why is he going against Islam . He is a lier and money hungry fool

Pakistan: Seven die as police clash with Qadri workers in Lahore

At least seven people have been killed in clashes between Pakistani police and supporters of a prominent Islamic scholar in the city of Lahore.

Dozens more were injured as police fired shots and tear gas to disperse protesters at the offices of Tahirul Qadri. His supporters threw stones.

Two women died in the riots which are now under control, reports say.

Mr Qadri, who is based in Canada, plans to return to Pakistan next week to lead a crusade against corrupt politicians.

He led a "long march" on Islamabad in January last year, but the protest fizzled out with little result.

The BBC's M Ilyas Khan in Islamabad says Mr Qadri is seen by many as a political nuisance who lacks clout.

But he has the ability to gather supporters from his madrassas and is rumoured to have ties with the powerful ISI intelligence agency.
