Its been a week now since I last wrote. In that time I shall be going jamaat next Friday 26th August Inshallah. I am doing well havent placed a bet yet in Ramadan so doing well. Trying to stay with positive company inshallah and so far it has helped spending money on Iftaar instead of William Hill. Make Dua Inshallah

ACCEPTING FATE

� Avoid saying the word, 'IF.'
� Instead, say whatever has happened was the Will of Allah Ta'ala and accept it and surrender yourself to Him.
� Allah Ta'ala is Al-Hakeem (The Wise), whatever Allah Ta'ala decrees is better for us.
� Many hardships befall on Allah's beloved like the Prophets (Peace and blessings be upon them all).
� Because Allah Ta'ala loves His Creations.
� Hardships can be a blessing or a form of punishment.
� We cannot say for sure if it is a blessing or punishment but leave it to Allah.
� Sometimes small problems are a means to remove a big problem e.g. accident, sickness or something stolen.
� A Human must accept his fate, because not accepting it will not change anything, nor remove it. It will just increase difficulties and sadness.
� The best cure is to have the quality of 'Sabr' (Patience), as Allah Ta'ala rewards a person who is patient without a measure.
� And try to solve the problem by seeking help from Allah Ta'ala.
� Be satisfied with what you have, don't want more in this World.
� Instead, Want more for the Hereafter!
� Remember, Allah Ta'ala Loves Us like, mothers love their child.
� There is no place and return but to Allah Ta'ala alone.
� Avoid Haram and Do Halal.
� Fear Allah Ta'ala.
� Have Trust in Allah Ta'ala.
� Be Patient.
� Always seek Forgiveness.
� Make DU'A!

Alhumdulilah its been a month and a bit now. I enjoyed a meal with my wife on Friday we still living seperate but I am taking a day at a time. I am paying my debts, providing and saving at the same time. I dont want to get ahead of myself i shall take a day at a time to rebuild what i have with my wife I have until December to proove myself I still read salat so everything is going smooth Alhumdulilah.

salam wa alaikum.. I am an 18 year old from london. I recently took up gambling and felll into its trap very quickly within a week.. I started to feel the addiction. I didnt know how to stop because I was winning more money than I was earning... in other words I didnt know the value of money and my iman was low!.. until a few days ago I lost 27,000 pounds. this has take a big affect on my life. mentally and physically. I am still in university but I really dont know how I am going to focus.. I only just recently started listening to islamic lectures to calm me down..and they have alhamdullilah..how ever the thought of it is still in my head and I get depressed every time it crosses my mind.. my brothers and sisters is there any recommendations you may have for me.. if so pleas share.. thank you and salam wa alaikum

I hope the brother that started this post is doing well and things have worked out for him. Same with the youngster in the last post.

Reason why I'm posting on here is because on YouTube recently before I play a video some of the adverts I have seen prior to the video starting are from 'BOTB.' It appears to be a website where you pay to play certain games, purchase ticket to win cars/cash. Okay these sort of competitions have been going around for many years but with this particular company a lot of the winners have been Muslim. You only need to go on their website to see how many Muslims have won.
