I appreciate daees tackling fitnas around the globe.

But there are daees, hidden gems, they don't appear on media. Their selfless service, protecting imaan of Muslims , their imaan was in danger. Millions of Muslims' imaan was/is under attack. Irtidaad was one step away.

Bismillah.
I am sure there are many people quietly doing the work of Dawah around the world. No one has disputed this. So I am not sure what your exact objection is.

No objecions.
Just a reminder that what reaches you through media is not the only fitnah ummah is facing. There are many very serious fitnahs which go unreported, so naturally how they are quietly tackled are also not reported. And these daees won't need any publicity.

Again I have no disagreement with this. There are many areas and challenges muslims are facing that need to be addressed.

Then the question is if najdism is indeed the gateway to modernism.

And if as you say at the same time majority of those countering modernist philosophies are also Najdis.

Then the question would be what are the Ulemah rooted in Traditional Islam doing.

Unfortunately we both know the situation. Let's be honest deo ulema get more triggered if there is a fiqhi dispute or akaabir being insulted than islam and rasoolullah (saw) being insulted. They spent last 3 decades obsessing with tarawih, 3 talaqs and other issues ( yew important) but totally ignored current trends, isms, g-had/politics and fitan.

That is real fitnah, worst fitnah. Deviation from path of salaf. Creating mistrust on salaf.

Slogan of "Only saheeh Hadith" is good attraction, when we dig into the fitnah, we understand, "Where there is no Saheeh hadith, Muslims are free to practice whatever they feel like".

Why akaabir are insulted? because Akaabir resist deviation from sunnah, the sunnah as derived by salaf.

There is saying here in subcontinent "Fitnah mongers fear insulting Islam, they insult Ulema, Ultimate target is Islam"

I was discussing this with our ahle hadees friend:
all 4 Imams are unanimous on if someone masturbates and ejaculates in state of ihraam, "damm" is wajib on him. Imam malik is more harsh here, He says haj is void, he must repeat the haj next year.

Our friend insists that there is no penalty since there is no nass, saheeh hadees on this issue.

Similarly 8 X 30 is GROWN to 3 X 3 rakat taraweeh, (they claim that, this is what is mentioned in saheeh hadees.

Taraweeh is not mentioned in Quran.

12 rakat sunnat e muakkidah is reduced to 2.

The fitnah is..... even Hanafis hear this from their ahle hadees friends and adopt it.

Ulema were warning... we took it lightly.

Many migrant muslims have made a success and have gone to great lengths creating institutions in the UK like madrssahs, darul looms, schools, etc, and most of these migrants were from south asia, mainly India.

I'm pretty sure if these same people wen to south america they would have equally setup up institutions for later generations in south america.

The example you give are mainly shia who left Lebanon/Syria for a new life, it snot that they were religious in the first instance and they have their own cultures.

However iman is in Allah's hands.
