Oh my Oh my! This man was recommended by the deobandi Imam of the masjid in which I offer salah. He (the imam) is a good man, is an alim but is not too well versed with the current happenings around the world. This Owaisi man has been trying to lure me in his silsila claiming that except for only a few mashaikh (probably from his silsila) in this world no one knows about true tassawuf and blah blah blah. He also gave me one book written by Shah Wali Ullah RH, which I read a little bit and then gave me Dalail us Sulook which I have read upto the Adab part. Around 340 pages or so I have read it.
Fortunately I came to this thread and have read five pages of it. Alhamdulillah I have been saved by the infinite mercy of Allah.

I remember the advice of my great shaykh. "Never sit in this or that majlis. Just do tabligh and do your Tassawuf Tasbihat."
I would like to remain on stage 1 instead of totally diverting from the straight path. May Allah save us all. I mentioned it immediately so that no newcomer is fooled by reading my post where I have mentioned Mualana Allah Yar Khan (May Allah forgive him for his mistakes and reward him for his services).
Very dangerous times we are living in.
