Assalamua'laikum

Other day I was listening to a speech of Moulana Tariq Jameel. The topic was about loving humanity. One important saying was "Hate the sin, not the sinner".

Unfortunately, many of us are involved in hating people. We do not give respect to them (both muslims and non-muslims) and still want them to follow the correct way. I was just thinking, when we put conditions, then we also get back conditions. Just like a saying "You reap what you sow".

If we love only those people who are correct and hate the ones who are wrong to the extent that we do not speak with them or go near to them. Then who on earth is responsible to get them straight ?

This thread is dedicated to spread love among humanity irrespective of caste, creed and religion. For we are advised to hate the wrong doing but not the wrong doers. Our love towards humanity will bring people nearer to us and allow them to listen and accept us.

JazakAllahu Khairan

Assalamua'alaikum

We humans tend to love disregarding others and praising self, feeding our ego. For having ego is the biggest sin as only Allah ta'ala can have a ego and no one else. However, since devil is always behind us to make us do wrong and unknowingly we fall pray to his tactics. Even the people who consider themselves to be staunch followers of Islam fail to control themselves when it comes to making fun of others or talking ill about others. Because there is that evil satisfaction in disregarding others as it keeps on encouraging us and makes us feel that we are greater than others. Every human being wants to be greater than others.

Greatness is not to disregard others but to love them and give respect. It takes real guts to respect someone who doesn't fit to your ideology. You have to kill your ego to respect someone who doesn't agree with you. And my dear friends, Allah surely loves those who kill their ego and love his creatures. It's not just humans but also animals and plants. Respect them and you will be respected. You disregard them and you will be disregarded.

We human beings think that being silent is an act of cowardice. Actually its an act of bravery. Shouting on others for silly things is just like a dog barking on being hit by a stone. Can you imagine a dog to be silent even after getting hit. No, its not possible. If it wants to be patient, then imagine what it would take. It should get mad, that is break its nerves. Even for humans to be silent despite being insulted by someone, the nerves break. It takes lot of courage to be silent even after someone has insulted us. Start practicing and experience the difference.

We might be always wrong!

We always feel that we are always right and others are wrong. Start thinking we are always wrong and others might be right. It will definitely change our lives.

The fun part is… (will share later, just got some work)

Continued.. Post no.5

The fun part is.. the moment someone says to us to look at our own mistakes. We immediately start doubting the other person. We will look at what wrong doings he is doing and if not openly, we start thinking to ourselves that he is doing so many wrongs doings, he is finding faults with so and so, he is doing this wrong way and that wrong way.

In the process of thinking so many things. We just forget the advise "Look at your own mistakes" and rather our mind goes on to find others mistakes.

How do we solve this ?

Its proved from hadiths and also many doctors the more peaceful our mind is, the better we act. Hence we need to practice to control our mind from loads of thinking we do in the back end. Some one says something, just take it. If its good for you, follow it and if you feel the information is wrong just leave it. No more thoughts and pondering. Keep your mind fresh and relaxed. The more you think, the more doubts arise…

Enmity or hate for the sake of Allah ta'ala

Assalamua'laikum

SubhanAllah… just took a deep breath and closed my eyes and asked for forgivness before writing this.

Most of us hate people who are doing wrong things for the sake of Allah. Some may be doing them wilfully and some might be doing unknowingly. And the moment they do tauba (repent).. all their sins are wiped away and they become fresh like a new born baby.. And what we do.. we keep on hating them for their sins and they keep on asking forgiveness from Allah for their sins. Lets decide whom Allah loves most. Just having a little bit of ill thought about others can cost us huge.

Allah loves most the people who repent than anything else.

There is positive side also..

People usually say we should think about worst scenario as well… Its good.. need to think "as well…" but not always live in worst scenario (negative) thoughts. There is also a positive thought.. If you don't get any positive thinking. Then be neither positive nor negative and its called balanced thought.

In other words.. when someone says you something and you can't make a positive outcome out of it. Then just keep quiet. Don't make him small by talking negatively.

Poetry in Urdu..

Phool aise he to sabko Atche nahi Lagtey..
Kuch tou Baat hai ke kaantey kisi ko nahi bhatey..
Chahey qalb kitna hi kyu na sakht ho kisi kaa..
Kaantey isey bhi pasand nahi hotey..
Aur ye aik aapka munfarid nazarya hai..
Ke doosroun ki Islah kaa is se behtar koi aur tareeqa nahi hai..
Bajaz iskey ke is surkh Tukrey ko chalni karein..
arey sar par danda rakhtey hain aur chahtey hain ke Phool jharein?
Bajeray ke beej daltey hain aur chahtey hain ke bhuttey niklein?
Ye kese bewaqoofi hai.. Aap Itney to ahmak na they..
Ye kesei Ghulami hai aap itney to bebas na they..
Ke aik ana ke khatir aap itnoun kaa dil dukhado?
Ke aik hansi ke khatir lougoun ke dil jalado?
Khair khuah aise tou nahi hotey ke zalil karein..
Aap kehtey hain ke ye dawah hai.. Tou Phir aap dawat me kache kareley kyu nahi pesh kartey..
Aik pheki chai to pee nahi jati, chahtey hain ke loug ye roukha lehja sarahein?
Arey kuch tou hosh karo.. yun to dil nahi jheetey jatey..
Arey totey diloun ko tour kar kia Khak apni manwao Gei?
In pareshaan haloun ko daant se kese sawaro gey?
Kuch to hosh karein! In quloob ko daant nahi piyar chahiye..
In zakhmioun ko tou muhabat kaa marhaam chahiye..
Is muhabbat nei hi tou kitnoun ko haraam mei mubtala kia hai..
Wahan tou besukooni hai.. Aap kia sukoon se bulao Gei to kia na ayengey?
Muhabbat se tou phatar bhi naram parh jata hai..
Shafqat ko to har Phool bhi samajhta hai..
Islam tou muhabbat kaa madhab hai..
Ye musalmaan apni mata kahan bhool gaya hai..?

Assalamu alaykum

I recall a saying of Hazrath jee Moulana Inamul hasan RA
"Haq kaho chahe kadwa lagay". The general meaning of this is to express the truth even if it hurts the receiver. Hazrat Jee said "express the truth in a way that it hurts YOU, means, even though you are expressing the truth, but you have to find a way which hurts you and then express the truth, so that the receiver takes the truth and acts upon it"

When someone says you something, listen to it. Don't judge or analyze the person from the past. By listening to him again, you may take the risk of helping him. By judging and analyzing from the past, you may take the risk of not helping him. And helping a human in need is the best of Ibadah.

Choosing...

We are not Allah. We cannot change the things.. then what can we do ?

We can choose. We can choose our surroundings, we can choose the people around us, we can choose the things we see..

We can just choose and accept them as is.

The moment i started choosing and choosing the things, the traffic in Hyderabad was not at all a burden on my head :). Similarly it can be your mom, dad, wife, children or even your worst enemy...

Abdul
