"A man travelling with Quran in his pocket is Ajeeb." More than the girl I see his struggle on Eeman and Islam.
Good lesson.

IF you have to deal with a woman and she is affecting you then:
Firstly, you will be surprised how quickly her temptation disappears. Secondly and most importantly, women hate (actually abhor) this and even if they have a crush on you this will really hurt and depress them when you say that you don't even think of her as a woman!
Even the most unfeminine of the women (your female platoon commander) will really take this to her heart and get depressed!
You just have no idea how effective it is to tell a woman who has a crush on you or loves you to just respond, "Well, I just think of you as another (guy) friend, no different to Khalid or Abdullah (someone she knows is your friend)."

You can sit with the most beautiful drunk woman and when she makes a move just say, " Well Sarah, I have never thought of you that way. Always thought of you like John or Kevin, no different...I am Sorry that you feel so strongly about me but it’s not possible for me to think of you other then like Bob. I have known you for so long, it's just not possible.”
Watch drunk Sarah cry her eyes out all night
Treat a Muslim woman like a man and see how easily she gets seriously depressed! Any Aisha, Khadija who has a crush on you (treat her like a lad) and keep mentioning it...
Sister, you are like one of the lads, you are not a woman, I don't even think of you as a woman (keep saying it again and again and again)...She will never pluck up the courage to even ask you...If she hints (in person) or email or text or WhatsApp simply join in the laughing and dismiss it as humour (like its a guy's thing) and hurt her femininity
This is the IF scenario, doesn't mean a person should try it out to test the theory.
This is extremely rude, discourteous, brutal treatment but STOPS Shaytaan dead in his tracks.
When a woman has a crush on you, she is at least looking for sympathy and you are not even giving her that; you are actually mocking her femininity (which is the real basis for her getting attracted towards you in the first place).

Respected Sister,
A true and sincere Muslim obeys Allah (SWT) and the noble Sunnah of Sayyidina Rasul-ullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam). He/She is sincere to the believers and looks after them like he/she wants to be looked after.
You may find my opinions at odds with most of the forum members/Sufees/Deobandees on this issue and I would be most appreciative if you can correct me.
First and foremost, I see nothing wrong with a brother or sister proposing to each other (for Nikah) for 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th wife if they meet in the Masjid, college, university, work or even on a forum. If someone finds someone whom they believe will be conducive to their Islamic growth then let them propose it (according to Sunnah), get the Wali involved and take them into their Nikah (properly).
The other person has the right to accept the proposal or decline it and both parties should move on from there. If its disagreed, it’s not the end of the world.
The problem occurs with crushes, infatuation and emotional attachment and this is actually a SICKNESS which needs to be cured. The nicer you act the longer and deeper of a spiritual problem you will actually cause!
Mature people come across someone, make Mushwara, do Istikhara, propose and accept their destiny.
Those with a problem destroy their spirituality and there is no way to deal with a person with a crush or infatuation but with a scalpel and excise the darkness of (poison of Shaytaan) and then let them recover. The alternative is actually damaging which is “Sorry Sister, I don’t want to marry you but lets keep emailing, texting, chatting until you get over it and I am here for you (if need me) etc.”
I apologise but experience (of hundreds) has taught me that the this is not the right approach or answer. On occasions you have to be cruel to save the Eeman of the person!
Jazakallahu Khayrun
Maulana, its not harsh.
Its disrespectful, discourteous and BRUTAL!
Its easier for her for hate me (to get over me) and save her Aakhira.
If a Muslim woman thinks that a man is the most ego-centric, insensitive, discourteous, sexist, masochistic, racist, monster and her anger snaps her out of her delusion then the plan has worked!
But this is to snap people out of their delusions and put them back into reality. For most people “No” is sufficient.

Maulana,
In a lot of cases the contact is not the male's fault; he didn’t initiate contact, didn’t maintain it, had nothing to do with it and the crush or infatuation is entirely one-sided.
But let’s say that the male did make a mistake, now what? What do you want him to do, nurse the Sister back to her spiritual health have more conversations, emails and texts why he can’t marry her?
The point is for her to get over him (somehow, anyhow).
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
Please wait...
