Emotional and physical relationship in Islam

Asslamo Allaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

Disclaimer:  Please don’t read any further if you are minor or under the age of 13.

Jazakullah Khairun

I was travelling with some young Muslims on a plane and all of sudden during the long flight one of the recently married young brother started to ask about sexual intercourse and ashamedly admitted that he liked it. Others unmarried brothers around him perked up and wanted to hear the discussion and for the next half an hour or so I heard the most absurd things you could ever hear from grown up men, examples of what was said:

Massacre in Egypt & Deobandees (Part 3)

posted by Muadh_Khan on 25th August 2013 - 1 comment

Asslamo Allaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

First and foremost, everyone reading this should make dua for our Brothers & Sisters in Egypt for Allah (SWT) to protect the believers, their life, their honour, their trust and their wealth and to give the highest status in paradise to those who have passed away (Ameen).

Secondly, this is my opinion of the state of the Deobandees in the West based on my limited experience and understanding and I am liable to error. It is your right to disagree, Insha’Allah.

Please recap Part 1

Syria & Egypt: Brutal Crackdown: What you need to know!!!

posted by Muadh_Khan on 21st August 2013 - 0 comments

Asslamo Allaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

Heaven and Earth are astonished at the brutality of men being inflicted fellow men. Today, the news broke out of Chemical attack on civilians in Syria. Most of the readers probably have no idea what it’s like to experience a Nerve gas attack, as part of my military basic training I had to experience it for 30 seconds and at the end of I was vomiting Green Pus & Mucus, my eyes were teary so couldn’t see and my nose was flowing uncontrollably!

Watch this video to see how it affects unprotected babies.

al-ʾIkḫwān al-Muslimūn  is an Islamic political party which has struggled for the supremacy  Islam in the Arab world particularly in Egypt and Syria since its inception in 1928. A number of Ulamah of Islam have disagreed with the methodology of al-ʾIkḫwān al-Muslimūn including the Deoabndi Ulamah. However in my opinion most Muslims have no knowledge of the sacrifices that its members have made for the sake of Islam.

I recommend readers to read or at least browse through two Accounts from our Muslim Sister.

Massacre in Egypt & Deobandees (Part 2)

Please recap Part 1

One of the unique characteristics and distinguishing factors of the Ulamah of Deoband was their ability to reach out to the world and connect the local (Indian) Muslims to the conflicts far away from their shores. When placed in the context that they were simultaneously fighting a war of independence at home (against British imperialism), it is a truly remarkable achievement.  We can elaborate and comment on many historical incidents but we would like to briefly enumerate 2 incidents where Indian Muslims poured their heart and soul into matters which were “Non-Indian” in nature. The first occurred before the establishment of Darul-uloom Deoband and the other two afterwards and it merely shows that Indian Ulamah (even pre Darul-uloom Deoband) had a keen eye on world events and providing suitable guidance for laymen Muslims to alleviate their confusion and to ensure that they are on the right side of history.

I have been thinking about the bloodbath which the Egyptian dictatorial military regime has been inflicting upon unarmed civilians and there are lessons in this for the Deobandees to learn and to reflect upon their behaviour.

During the last 10 years there have been many incidents of a US funded, equipped and (counterinsurgency) trained Army of a Muslim country killing its own civilians, draped in National flags, asking the National press to get behind them as they perform their patriotic duty of protecting the mother land against “Terrorists”.

Google, Forums & *YOU*

Asslamo Allaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barkatuh,

A few brothers brought this issue to my attention with technical expertise from a very good brother from Sunniforum and may Allah (SWT) give him the best of success in this world and the next (Ameen).

A practising brother and sister decided to get married a few years ago. They were on the Sunnah so there was no flirting, no exchange of emails or messages, the brother made Istikhara , proposed and she accepted.

Sister abruptly backed out of the marriage and they parted ways without discussing matters and closing the issue. Just before that the brother had accidently googled her details and accidently came across her posts on a forum (not Sunniforum) which made him curious and he discovered that she wasn’t who she claimed to be (as far as Islamic practise is concerned) and actually had a completely different life online to what she had in “real “ life.

This Sister was leaving enough “breadcrumbs “  unintentionally in her forum posts for someone to follow to actually piece together her real views and opinions.

Maulana Tariq Jameel (HA) & concerns of Pakistani Ulamah

posted by Muadh_Khan on 14th August 2013 - 6 comments

Asslamo Allaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh,

Shaykh (Maulana) Tariq Jameel (HA) came to our Masjid in America almost 20 years ago and due to severe headache and vomiting couldn’t give a Bayan so I was unable to listen to any of the talks of an up and coming young Tableeghi Maulana.

A few months later I was Taskhleed to go 40 days but the Jamaat had no car. A Dr friend of Shaykh (Maulana) Tariq Jameel (HA) gave me the keys of his car at his request and I was the driver of the Jamaat during my entire 40 days. Again, I kept missing Shaykh (Maulana) Tariq Jameel (HA) but he kept a special eye on our Jamaat and me (for some reason) as I kept getting special instructions passed along my 40 days. Over the next few years I kept missing him in USA and only met him in the Masjid of Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam where he did recognise me but couldn’t place me as to where he had met me.

So my encounters with Shaykh (Maulana) Tariq Jameel (HA) go way back before most people had even known him and from close encounters I always felt uncomfortable with some of his opinions from day one but I am a nobody so for close to 20 years I haven’t listened to many of his Bayans simply because it’s not my cup of tea, to be honest but no technical reasons just personal taste.  I am aware of many of the narrations and quotations which we produce in his Bayans which may be on the weaker side but as per the opinion of the Ulamah that is permissible in issues of Fadhail.

For the first time day, I have come across this detailed analysis of Maulana (HA)’s position which was presented to no less of a Giant of Deobandees Shaykh (Maulana) Sarfarz Khan Safdar (RA) during his last days. Hazrat was too ill to read it himself so he ordered the manuscript to be sent to Shaykh (Maulana) Abdul Haq Khan Basheer (HA)  for thorough analysis and subsequently to forward it to Shaykh (Maulana) Tariq Jameel (HA). The review was completed by Shaykh (Maulana) Abdul Haq Khan Basheer (HA) and read it in its entirety to Shaykh (Maulana) Sarfarz Khan Safdar (RA) before his passing away and then sent to (Maulana) Tariq Jameel (HA) with his permission.

A real life story for all married Muslimah women!

posted by Muadh_Khan on 7th August 2013 - 3 comments

This is the story of a well known Shaykh (HA) in UK.

Shaykh is very ill and bed ridden for many years. It was narrated to me by Shaykh (HA) and his wife themselves otherwise I don’t think many people know about their background.

Shaykh (HA) came to UK to complete his post graduate university education towards the end of 1960’s, while studying he got engaged to a young woman from a long line of distinguished Deobandi Ulamah & Madhaykh back home. Since it was anticipated that this girl will eventually move to UK parents ensured that she learned English and read as much material in English as possible.

Aunty (HA) told me that in the 1960’s there wasn’t a lot of Islamic English material available but her father wrote to Darul-ulooms all over India/Pakistan and subscribed to all English magazines to ensure that she read them and was fluent in English. Since her father was a leading Deobandi Shaykh he ensured that his daughter read nothing except for Deobandi material even for practising English.

She never left home and wore a Niqab but all efforts were made to ensure that she learned and practised as much as English as possible. She had no contact with men and had never taken her Niqab off in front of anyone.

Shaykh Imran Hosein & some strange views!

posted by Muadh_Khan on 2nd August 2013 - 92 comments

Asslamo Allaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

Background:

In the past people had asked my opinion about Shaykh Imran Hosein (HA) and in my limited research although I found some strange views there was nothing of significance to raise alarm bells and to warn people against listening to him.

I retract my words and make Taubah from all earlier words (in speech and writings) where I defended him and gave him benefit of the doubt on his ambiguous interpretation of the Qur’aan & Sunnah.

I was impressed by some of his analysis however, recently some brothers on the Deobandi (Urdu) forum called Haqqforum posted some videos which made me sit up and notice some of the views which he is propagating which are blatantly Pro-Iranian & Pro-Syrian regime amongst other things.
