Spending on Ashura
There are several legitimate practices in Islam that have been wrongfully deemed as incorrect. In an era of religious melt-down, we cannot afford such incorrect assertions One such practice is: Spending on one’s family on the day of ‘Ashura (The 10th of Muharram)
Rasulullah (sallallahu ’alayhi wasallam) is reported to have said:
“Whoever expands his expenditure on his family on the day of ‘Aashura, Allah Ta’alawill inflate his sustenance for the rest of that year”

Guests – A Blessing of Allah
Knock Knock, It's Me!
This is something new to me and so I'm sharing with others because we all do it as a joke and out of normality/seriousness.
If someone is seeking permission and is asked who he is, he should introduce himself with his known name or his nickname. It is not enough to say: "It's me!" Imams Bukhari and Muslim reported that Jabir رضي الله عنه came to the Prophet and knocked on his door. The Prophet replied, "Who is it?", Jabir رضي الله عنه replied, "It's me!". The Prophet
hated that and said, "It's me, It's me", meaning that he hated this useless response.

In an era like ours, in which we’ve become immune to insecurity, the following prescription from one of the most knowledgeable Sahabah (radiyallahu’anhum) is very pertinent.
Lets read through the following narrations and be inspired.
Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu’anhu) said:
Water Birth
SubhanAllah, I just realized one thing and never thought about it before and probably just speculating.
Hazrat Maryam عليه السلام is in severe pain and then she is told "Do not grieve; your Lord has provided beneath you a stream".
Surah Maryam, Verse 23:
