Live for Another Year | Mufti Abdur-Rahman ibn Yusuf (2 minites 15 seconds)
Disclaimer at the end of the video :)

It was narrated from Abu Qataadah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was asked about fasting on the day of ‘Arafah and he said: “It expiates for the past and coming years.” Narrated by Muslim (1162). According to another report: “I ask Allaah that it may expiate for (the sins of) the year that comes before it and the year that comes after it.”

Eid in Makkah does not have to coincide with others

THOSE WHO CLAIM TO FOLLOW SAUDI ARE NOT LISTENING TO SAUDI SCHOLARS, LET ALONE THIER OWN SCHOLARS! [u]Video Evidence Below! They say that we are following Saudi - That is a lie, simply because Saudi Scholars are saying that the Moon sighted for Makkah has nothing to do with those outside of their region. Instead, those outside of Saudi are being told that they MUST follow local sighting. Therefore, the claim of following Saudi is falseEid ul Adha is not an Eid ul Hajj!! See videos below & click for more in the Wifaqul Ulama link for more evidence! Unfortunately, there is a common misunderstanding amongst the people that when it is Yawm ul Arafah in Saudi Arabia, the whole world has to celebrate Eid ul Adha on the next day. No evidence for this can be found in our Holy Shariah.

Ihram Footwear

posted by abu mohammed on 15th August 2017 - 0 comments
APOLOGIES FOR THE FORMAT OF THE TEXT - INSHAALLAH, THIS SHOULD BE SORTED SOON. ---- There has been a confusion about the footwear for Ihram and this confusion can be caused by different opinions from other valid schools of thoughts. Many of us see others wearing sandals covering the entire foot and so on. ---- Therefore, InshaAllah this post may help identify the differing rulings of the slippers / flip-flops that are allowed, specifically in the Hanafi School of thought. ---- Below are two question and answers (edited) with an ilustration of the bones in question. For further clarification, one should consult a scholar or show them the slipper when on the foot as each slipper and foot will be described and fit differently per person. ----- Question 1

Waseela and the Misunderstandings

Waseela and the Misunderstandings

It is very sad and unfortunate that many people have misinterpreted and misunderstood the Shari' method and value of Waseela. The Dangers of getting it wrong will be catastrophic!

My aim here is to keep it very simple and differentiate between that which is Halal and that which is Shirk and I pray to Allah that He gives us the ability to see the difference and protect our Iman.

It's not something new, instead it's very old, older than Islam and when done incorrectly, it becomes a Pagan act.

Islam came to wipe out Paganism, it came to wipe out Polythiesm, i.e. Shirk, associating partners with Allah. Islam came with Tawheed, The first Pillar of Islam!

Spending on Ashura

posted by abu mohammed on 10th October 2016 - 0 comments

There are several legitimate practices in Islam that have been wrongfully deemed as incorrect. In an era of religious melt-down, we cannot afford such incorrect assertions One such practice is: Spending on one’s family on the day of ‘Ashura (The 10th of Muharram)

Rasulullah (sallallahu ’alayhi wasallam) is reported to have said:

“Whoever expands his expenditure on his family on the day of ‘Aashura, Allah Ta’alawill inflate his sustenance for the rest of that year”

Have you called him for Salaah

Have You Called Him for Salaat

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “I order you to do four things… To believe in Allah, testifying that there is no God except Allah and I am the Messenger of Allah; to establish the Salaat; to pay Zakaat; to give me one fifth of the booty (Khumus – to be spent in Allah’s Cause).” [Sahih Bukhari]

Umar (radi Allahu anhu) was stabbed by an assassin while he was leading the Salaat in congregation. He was covered with a sheet of cloth and was lying unconscious.

CLEANSING THE PRIVATE PARTS AFTER GOING TO THE TOILET

Kitab al Athar - Chapter on CLEANSING THE PRIVATE PARTS AFTER GOING TO THE TOILET

38. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us saying, Hammaad narrated to us from Ibrahim that those who associate partners with Allah at the time of the Messenger of Allah (salallahu 'alahyi wa sallam) met the Muslims and said, "We see that your companion (Meaning the Messenger of Allah, salallahu 'alahyi wa sallam) teaches you how you should go to the toilet," making fun of them. So the Muslims said, "Yes." They [The Mushrikun] asked them [about that] and they [the Companions] said, "He told us not to face the Qiblah with our private parts, not to cleanse our private parts with our right hands, and not to cleanse our private parts with bones or dung, and that we should cleanse oursleves with three stones.""

Muhammad said, "We adhere to this, but washing with water in the act of cleansing the private parts is preferable to us, and that is the verdict of Abu Hanifa."
