Listen to why Imam Malik who narrated many Hadith with him self in the chain of narrations, but did not act upon the Hadith himself, rather he followed the people of Madinah. Same goes for Imam Abu Hanifa who narrated many Hadith but acted upon the practices of the Sahaba and Tabieen.
1000 from 1000 is beter than 1 from 1.
1000 peoples actions from 1000 peoples actions are better than 1 Hadith narrated from 1 person to another person.

Qadha Salah or Qaza Namaz, How many do we pray, How Many have we missed. Take a breif look at the Islamic Calender below, in RED are marked out Most Holy days according to the average Muslim. We are not Average! Are we really Muslim or do we just pray because somebody is watching us and not because it is our Duty. If this chart was changed to become Breakfast - Lunch - Tea - Dinner - Midnite Snack. How many boxes would get ticked? By the way, not all Muslim Men pray Jummah either. The sin of missing a Salaah intentionaly is extremly great. According to Hadeeth such a person even though he pays the Salaah back later will remain in Jahannam for a period of 1 Huqb which is equal to 70 years of this world. Imagine the punishment for one who completly neglects it. Salaah will also be the first things to be reconded for on the day of Qiyaamat.

Hadrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud radiallahu anhu says that if the people of knowledge valued knowledge and placed it in the right hands (i.e. passed it on to those who have the capability of acquiring it and becoming leaders. To teach that which is compulsory, is necessary on every person, but more than the basic with which a person can lead others, should only be taught to those who have the capability); then without doubt, the Jews and the Christians would have become leaders of the time on account of their knowledge. However, they wasted their knowledge on the worldly people in order that they may gain some worldly benefit from them. As a result, they became wretched and disgraced in the eyes of the worldly people. This happened because the right of knowledge was that through it the pleasure of Allah should have been sought. By seeking the benefits of this world, they actually disgraced knowledge, the result of which was that they themselves became disgraced. If an aalim does not have any greed and fulfils the rights of the Deen, Allah Ta'ala will automatically put respect in the hearts of the people for him. In the same way, the one who seeks the world through knowledge and does not fulfil the rights of knowledge, Allah Ta'ala disgraces him. Such a person will suffer a loss in both the worlds.

DISREGARD FOR ULAMA - AN OPEN SIGN OF QIYAAMAT Better dead at that time
! Rasulullah (sallallahu-alayhi-wasallam) made dua to Allah: O Allah! let me not be alive and may you (O Sahabah!) also not be alive at such a time when the Aalim will not be followed, and when no respect will be shown to the wise-learned ones. The people of that time will have hearts like kuffaar and their tongues will be eloquently sweet like the tongue of the Arabs. - Targheeb (al-Itidaal of H.Shaikh) Will be treated like dogs Rasulullah (sallallahu-alayhi-wasallam) said: Such a time will come when the Ulama will be killed like dogs. If only the Ulama could become insane
. (al-Itidaal of H.Shaikh)

Do not get angry, and Paradise will be yours. (A saheeh hadeeth. Saheeh al-Jaami, 7374. Ibn Hajar attributed it. During anger Shaitan says my soul is in your heart and my eyes into yours. The Prophet (pbuh) said : " When one of you gets angry, let him make ablution with water as anger arises out of fire." In another narration, he said:" Anger comes from the devil and the devil is made of fire." A person may complain: I get very angry very quickly. If there is the slightest provocation, I quickly explode and start to break things, swear, curse and issue threats of divorce. This problem has caused me so much embarrassment, and has made most people hate me, even my wife and children and closest friends. What can I do to rid myself of this awful disease and extinguish this devilish fire?

I know you're on the quest for more Islamic knowledge (since we all should be) so I thought I'd relay some advice which I find to be extremely important. Many people fall into the trap of thinking that they can read and take action. The truth of the matter is, many statements in the Ahadeeth and the Quran are not literal. When non-educated people (like me) try to make sense of any of these quotations, many times, we fall into a dangerous trap. Then, we have the audacity to go and argue with people on the subject after thinking "I know it all". In Islam, we have to remain humble and continue to have a willingness to learn.
