THE BIRTH DATE OF RASULULLAAH (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) According to majority of the Islamic historians the Prophet Sallallahu alayhi wasallam was born in the 'Year of the elephant' - the year when Abraha came with his army to demolish the Holy Ka'baa. (Albidayah wan nihayah - 321/2 } There are six opinions regarding the month of the Prophet's Sallallahu alayhi wasallam birth: 1. Muharram 2. Safar 3. Rabiul awwal 4. Rabiul Akhar 5. Rajab 6. Ramadhann {Sharhul Mawahib 130-131/1) The majority of the scholars are unanimous that the Prophet Sallallahu alayhi wasallam was born in Rabiul awwal. {Albidayah li ibn e Kathir 319/2) According to the famous research scholar Allama Muhammed Zahid Kawthari Rahemahullah, any other month apart from Rabiul awwal is unacceptable to the proficient scholars. (Maqaalat ul Kawthari - 405) The day of the Prophet Sallallahu alayhi wasallam birth was Monday. According to the famous muhaddith and historian - Hafiz Ibn e Kathir Rahemahullah, this is a unanimously accepted fact. (Albidayah - 319/2). In a hadeeth of Muslim, narrated by Abu Qatadah Radeallahhotallahanh, the Prophet Sallallahu alayhi wasallam was asked regarding the fast of Monday. He replied: it is the day I was born and also the day when the first revelation was sent upon me. (Muslim, with Sharh e Ubbi - 123/4)

THE STYLE OF RASULULLAHS GARMENT By Mujlisul Ulama of South Africa When a modernist Muslim criticizes the dress style and appearance of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and the Sahaabah, we in this age in which kufr preponderates, are not surprised. Immersed in the kufr concepts and liberalism of the western kuffaar, it is just natural and logical for modernists to denigrate every teaching of the Sunnah which conflicts with the tastes and hues of western culture. In fact, even Ulama have become so terribly desensitized with the kufr of the modernists as a consequence of their mutual association and their dubious and baseless policies of hikmat and diplomacy, that they (the Ulama) too have become chronic victims of the maladies of kufr and liberalism. So while we cannot be surprised when modernists criticize, mock and sneer at the dress styles and appearance of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and his Sahaabah, there is not only surprise but shock when molvis products of Darul Ulooms - who purport to be followers of the Ulama of the Sunnah, resort to labyrinthal arguments in order to justify styles which are in conflict with not only the practical example of the Nabi, but in diametric opposition to his explicit statements of prohibition pertaining to certain dress styles. http://www.central-mosque.com/index.php/Refutations/false-allegations-against-deobandi-ulama.html Responses to baseless and unfounded accusations hurled at Ulamah of Deoband! The false propaganda against and blatant fabrications about our highly acclaimed and respected Ulama of Deoband by the ignorant must be refuted at all costs. Numerous pamphlets and booklets have been written distorting the truth about and writings of our distinguished Ulama. Among the most common pamphlets displayed is "Tabliqism - one way ticket to Hell". "Are these Islamic Beliefs": in one column is the 'Deobandi Tabliqi Beliefs' and next to it is the 'Islamic beliefs'. However, answers to the allegations have been given in various publications. Therefore, this publication will attempt to print all the false allegations and the correct views.

The True story behind Taliban Taken from a short discourse delivered by Mufti Nizammuddin Shamzi (d.b) Firstly, I would like to put forward that the Taliban are those Afghanis from religious schools, students as well as teachers, who whave participated in the Jihad of Afghanistan. Of course, at that time these people were from various organisations. There were some from Hikmatyars organisation, some from Shaikh Sayyafs group, from Nabi Mohammad's group, some from Yunus Khalis's group and from Gylani's organisation. As you well know, there is a tribal society in Afghanistan. Therefore, there is a very strong relationship between one another i.e. the public scholars. So the Russian trops entered Afghanistan, the Ulama gathered adn gave Fatwa that Jihad against the Russian troops was Fard upon everyone that lived within Afghanistan. Therefore this fatwa resulted in the widespread participation of Scholars and Students of Afghanistan including their closely related pious associates in Jihad. They spent 16 years doing Jihad in which half a million people were Shaheed including women and children. This great sacrifice enabled the Afghanis to gain a position that ultimately led to the Russain withdrawal from Afghanistan. Russia now only exists in the form of various independant states in central Asia. Today we see that there is no government under the name of Soviet Union anywhere in the world. After the withdrawal of the Russian troops from Afghanistan, the Ulama and Students, who thought sincerely for the sake of Allah, believed that their mission was accomplished and so they returned to their posts i.e. religious schools and Mosques and the general public returned to their work.

[h]Dates in the Holy Quran & the Sunnah of the Prophet
CLICK ON IMAGE TO VIEW FORUM POSTS The date fruit and tree were dear to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the word date is mentioned in the Holy Quran more than 20 times. While the date palm tree is called nakhl, the fruit is called tamr in Arabic. The date palm, mentioned more than any other fruit-bearing plant in the Quran, is a symbol often associated with Islam and Muslims. Throughout the month of Ramadan, dates are a common ingredient in the Muslim diet.
