"WHERE ARE YOU GOING?"

Listen to the words of the Qur'an. These are not my words; it is the prose of the Qur'an.

(Ayah) Fa ayna tadh haboon - "Where are you going?"

There is such love in these words. It's like when a mother becomes helpless/dejected due to her child going astray, and she asks him "What are you doing?" The pain of the mother which is felt inside these words...Or when a father becomes helpless/dejected and says "Son, what are you doing?" the compassion of the father felt in these words, knowing what his son is doing will cause him harm in the future.

At that point he becomes helpless and says "What are you doing?" "Where are you going?" So we can narrate the words but the depth of emotion which comes with it cannot be fully understood. That has no translation. There is no translation of emotions that are felt due to Arabic not being our mother tongue, we don't understand when Allah speaks to us...and the intensity of love that comes with it:

(Ayah) "Yaa Ayuhal Insaan" ( O mankind)

Allah hu Akbar! not just the Muslims, but the love which Allah expresses to the 7 billion inhabitants of the world...."Yaa Ayuhal Insaan" This seems to me like Allah has come upon the earth, going to each individual, shaking him and saying "What are you doing?"

(Ayah) O my creation, I am your Lord, why have you left Me?

It's normal here for children to abandon their parents, but in our areas it is less. When it does happen the parents say "Why are you going?" the pain which is hidden in the "Why". "Where are you going" the pain which is in that is of a mother and father. If we use this analogy with Allah, all the while understanding Allah's love is infinite, then try to understand this word

(Ayah) "Yaa Ayuhal Insaan- Maa Gharraka birabbikal kareem" O my creation, why have you left your Lord?

I am your Lord, I am your Lord. Who has deceived you? Why have you left Me?

(Ayah) I created you, look at your appearance in the mirror and see how I created you. Can I wrong you?

A mother does not wrong her child even though she is just a channel/medium, yet i have created you with my hands, can i wrong you? If i stop you from something, then there is some wisdom behind it. If i tell you to do something, then there is benefit in it for you.

(Ayah) "Fa ayna tadh haboon" where are you going?

Allah hu Akbar, Allah is saying "Where are you going?" By leaving Allah can one find shelter anywhere else? Contrary to this my Lord says; Not there, come over here. Allah says "Come towards Me" "Come towards Me" "Come towards Me".

Poetry translation:
"My wretched sins could not find shelter anywhere except in the shade of Thy Merciful Forgiveness"
