Dear Qadiyani,
Preamble:
Our success and the success of whole mankind is dependent upon obeying the commandments of Allah (SWT) as shown by Prophet Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) who lived and passed away in Madina 1400 years ago.
Your illusions and misunderstandings will be addressed systematically in a point by point manner so I suggest that you also get organised and address issues systematically.
Part 5 was concluded here.
Part 6: Was Isra’ and Mi‘raaj a Dream?
It would appear that the Qadiyanee with 51,000+ twitter followers has plucked up courage again to start an argument and this time instead of addressing the already open issues he has gone off a tangent and started discussing a new issue.
The Qadiyanees (in direct contrast) to Muslims believe that the events of Isra and Miraj were a DREAM and not physical, why? Firstly, because (fully) believing in this event DESTROYS the entire basis and foundation of this cult. Secondly, because there have been heretics, atheists (and a very small number of Scholars due to their mistake) have held this view and the very nature of Qadiyani’ism is to create divisions in the Ummah by exploiting and airing differences.
Qadiyani strategy on Isra’ and Mi‘raaj:
Broadly, there are 3 separate issues connected with this night:
- Issue 1: Prophet Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) going on a Journey of Isra’ and Mi‘raaj.
- Issue 2: Prophet Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) meeting Allah (SWT)
- Issue 3: Did it happen ONCE or more then ONCE?
The Qadiyani strategy is to first jumble up all 3 issues and mash them into a single issue. Then quote references of first issue for 2nd and references for second issue for first and so on. Then leave the standard commentaries and opinions and quote you OFF THE WALL references (which you have never heard of) to create doubts in your mind.
Let’s explore the Qadiyani tactics and respond to the deception…
Response 1: If Isra’ and Mi‘raaj was a dream then…
We know that the Quraysh of Makkah reacted in absolute astonishment when Prophet Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) described his Journey to Isra’ and Mi‘raaj, so much so that they decided to TEST Prophet Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) and then even SOUGHT verification from travelling caravans to seek confirmation of the incidents (and circumstances) described by Prophet Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam).
Why would they (Quraysh) go to such extremes if this was a dream? What is so unbelievable about a dream? A person can dream anything they want in a dream all sorts of things which cannot physically happen.
You can dream to be the President of United States, people will raise an eyebrow to say it’s weird but that’s about it.
I can narrate that I dreamed that Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadiyani died of dysentery in his own vomit and faeces; what’s so unbelievable…
O What! That actually happened; can we scratch that last example please…
Response 2: Isra’ and Mi‘raaj is part of Aqeedah of Islam & Muslims
I said Aqeedah of Islam and Muslims so I absolutely don't expect the Qadiyanees to accept it; they have NOTHING to do with Islam

39. Al-Mi`raj (the Ascent through the heavens) is true. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was taken by night and ascended in his bodily form, while awake, through the heavens, to whatever heights Allah willed for him. Allah ennobled him in the way that He ennobled him and revealed to him what He revealed to him, "and his heart was not mistaken about what it saw" (al-Najm 53:11). Allah blessed him and granted him peace in this world and the next.
Response 3: Isra’ and Mi‘raaj (primary verse) in the Qur'aan
[17:1] Glorious is He Who made his servant travel by night from Al-Masjid-ul-Haram to Al-Masjid-ul-Aqsa whose environs We have blessed, so that We let him see some of Our signs. Surely, He is the All-Hearing, the All- Seeing.
The word used in the Qur’aan is “Abd” and there is no dictionary of Arabic language which gives the definition of “Abd” as spiritual or soul ALONE. Take a look at the following verse in the Qur’aan where the same root word “Abd” is used and look at the translation:
وَمَا خَلَقۡت٠ٱلۡجÙنَّ وَٱلۡإÙنسَ Ø¥Ùلَّا Ù„ÙيَعۡبÙدÙونÙ
[51:56] I did not create the Jinns and the human beings except for the purpose that they should worship Me.
Do you worship Allah (SWT) in a dream or does your soul worship according to this verse?
Qadiyanees have a very serious problem with this verse which is the primary verse for Isra’ and Mi‘raaj so they hardly EVER quote it because they can't explain it!
Response 4: Isra’ and Mi‘raaj (Secondary verse) in the Qur'aan and Qadiyani Deception
Here the Qadiyanees create deception by quoting you this verse from the Qur’aan:
مَا كَذَبَ ٱلۡÙÙؤَاد٠مَا رَأَىٰٓ
[53:11] The heart did not err in what he saw.
All I will do is quote you the whole part of this discussion from the same Surah:
مَا كَذَبَ ٱلۡÙÙؤَاد٠مَا رَأَىٰٓ
Ø£ÙŽÙَتÙمَـٰرÙونَه٠ۥ عَلَىٰ مَا يَرَىٰ

[53:11] The heart did not err in what he saw.[53:12] Do you quarrel with him in what he sees? [53:13] Indeed he saw him another time [53:14]by Sidrat-ul-Muntaha (the lote-tree in the upper realm), [53:15] near which there is Jannat-ul-Ma‘wa (the Paradise of Abode), [53:16] when the lote-tree was covered by that which covered it. [53:17] The eye neither went wrong, nor did exceed the limit.[53:18] He has indeed seen a part of the biggest signs of your Lord.
12 year old Arabic students know what “Basar” means! But in case someone is in doubt here are two examples from the Qur’aan (there are many more). In the second example both words are used!

12 year old Arabic students know what “Ra'aa” means! But in case someone is in doubt here is a very common example from the Qur'aan:

It is ABSURD to try to state one verse, strip it out of context and try to make your point…
Response 5: Isra’ and Mi‘raaj was a dream otherwise why would Prophet Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) be asked to wake up? Qadiyani Deception
Qadiyanees again produce the snippet of a Hadeeth (as follows) and claim that this was a dream otherwise why would he be asked to wake up and he (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) (indeed) woke up in Haram:
قَالَ ÙَاهْبÙطْ بÙاسْم٠اللَّهÙ. قَالَ وَاسْتَيْقَظَ وَهْوَ ÙÙÙŠ مَسْجÙد٠الْØَرَامÙ
On that Gabriel said, "Descend in Allah's Name." The Prophet (ï·º) then woke while he was in the Sacred Mosque (at Mecca).
Once again let us quote you the full Hadeeth which explains itself.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: The night Allah's Messenger (ï·º) was taken for a journey from the sacred mosque (of Mecca) Al-Ka`ba: Three persons came to him (in a dreamy while he was sleeping in the Sacred Mosque before the Divine Inspiration was revealed to Him. One of them said, "Which of them is he?" The middle (second) angel said, "He is the best of them." The last (third) angle said, "Take the best of them." Only that much happened on that night and he did not see them till they came on another night, i.e. after The Divine Inspiration was revealed to him. (Fath-ul-Bari Page 258, Vol. 17) and he saw them, his eyes were asleep but his heart was not----and so is the case with the prophets: their eyes sleep while their hearts do not sleep. So those angels did not talk to him till they carried him and placed him beside the well of Zamzam. From among them Gabriel took charge of him. Gabriel cut open (the part of his body) between his throat and the middle of his chest (heart) and took all the material out of his chest and `Abdomen and then washed it with Zamzam water with his own hands till he cleansed the inside of his body, and then a gold tray containing a gold bowl full of belief and wisdom was brought and then Gabriel stuffed his chest and throat blood vessels with it and then closed it (the chest). He then ascended with him to the heaven of the world and knocked on one of its doors. The dwellers of the Heaven asked, 'Who is it?' He said, "Gabriel." They said, "Who is accompanying you?" He said, "Muhammad." They said, "Has he been called?" He said, "Yes" They said, "He is welcomed." So the dwellers of the Heaven became pleased with his arrival, and they did not know what Allah would do to the Prophet (ï·º) on earth unless Allah informed them. The Prophet (ï·º) met Adam over the nearest Heaven. Gabriel said to the Prophet, "He is your father; greet him." The Prophet (ï·º) greeted him and Adam returned his greeting and said, "Welcome, O my Son! O what a good son you are!" Behold, he saw two flowing rivers, while he was in the nearest sky. He asked, "What are these two rivers, O Gabriel?" Gabriel said, "These are the sources of the Nile and the Euphrates." Then Gabriel took him around that Heaven and behold, he saw another river at the bank of which there was a palace built of pearls and emerald. He put his hand into the river and found its mud like musk Adhfar. He asked, "What is this, O Gabriel?" Gabriel said, "This is the Kauthar which your Lord has kept for you." Then Gabriel ascended (with him) to the second Heaven and the angels asked the same questions as those on the first Heaven, i.e., "Who is it?" Gabriel replied, "Gabriel". They asked, "Who is accompanying you?" He said, "Muhammad." They asked, "Has he been sent for?" He said, "Yes." Then they said, "He is welcomed.'' Then he (Gabriel) ascended with the Prophet (ï·º) to the third Heaven, and the angels said the same as the angels of the first and the second Heavens had said. Then he ascended with him to the fourth Heaven and they said the same; and then he ascended with him to the fifth Heaven and they said the same; and then he ascended with him to the sixth Heaven and they said the same; then he ascended with him to the seventh Heaven and they said the same. On each Heaven there were prophets whose names he had mentioned and of whom I remember Idris on the second Heaven, Aaron on the fourth Heavens another prophet whose name I don't remember, on the fifth Heaven, Abraham on the sixth Heaven, and Moses on the seventh Heaven because of his privilege of talking to Allah directly. Moses said (to Allah), "O Lord! I thought that none would be raised up above me." But Gabriel ascended with him (the Prophet) for a distance above that, the distance of which only Allah knows, till he reached the Lote Tree (beyond which none may pass) and then the Irresistible, the Lord of Honor and Majesty approached and came closer till he (Gabriel) was about two bow lengths or (even) nearer. (It is said that it was Gabriel who approached and came closer to the Prophet. (Fate Al-Bari Page 263, 264, Vol. 17). Among the things which Allah revealed to him then, was: "Fifty prayers were enjoined on his followers in a day and a night." Then the Prophet (ï·º) descended till he met Moses, and then Moses stopped him and asked, "O Muhammad ! What did your Lord en join upon you?" The Prophet (ï·º) replied," He enjoined upon me to perform fifty prayers in a day and a night." Moses said, "Your followers cannot do that; Go back so that your Lord may reduce it for you and for them." So the Prophet (ï·º) turned to Gabriel as if he wanted to consult him about that issue. Gabriel told him of his opinion, saying, "Yes, if you wish." So Gabriel ascended with him to the Irresistible and said while he was in his place, "O Lord, please lighten our burden as my followers cannot do that." So Allah deducted for him ten prayers where upon he returned to Moses who stopped him again and kept on sending him back to his Lord till the enjoined prayers were reduced to only five prayers. Then Moses stopped him when the prayers had been reduced to five and said, "O Muhammad! By Allah, I tried to persuade my nation, Bani Israel to do less than this, but they could not do it and gave it up. However, your followers are weaker in body, heart, sight and hearing, so return to your Lord so that He may lighten your burden." The Prophet (ï·º) turned towards Gabriel for advice and Gabriel did not disapprove of that. So he ascended with him for the fifth time. The Prophet (ï·º) said, "O Lord, my followers are weak in their bodies, hearts, hearing and constitution, so lighten our burden." On that the Irresistible said, "O Muhammad!" the Prophet replied, "Labbaik and Sa`daik." Allah said, "The Word that comes from Me does not change, so it will be as I enjoined on you in the Mother of the Book." Allah added, "Every good deed will be rewarded as ten times so it is fifty (prayers) in the Mother of the Book (in reward) but you are to perform only five (in practice)." The Prophet (ï·º) returned to Moses who asked, "What have you done?" He said, "He has lightened our burden: He has given us for every good deed a tenfold reward." Moses said, "By Allah! I tried to make Bani Israel observe less than that, but they gave it up. So go back to your Lord that He may lighten your burden further." Allah's Messenger (ï·º) said, "O Moses! By Allah, I feel shy of returning too many times to my Lord." On that Gabriel said, "Descend in Allah's Name." The Prophet (ï·º) then woke while he was in the Sacred Mosque (at Mecca). [Bukhari]
Note 3 fundamental differences between the incidents of this Hadeeth and what we normally know of Isra’ and Mi‘raaj:
- Difference 1: This happened in at least 2 (may be more) nights while the physical ascension which the Qur’aan refers to (see response 3) happened in ONE NIGHT (categorical verse of the Qur’aan)
- Difference 2: There is no mention of Isra (travel to Masjidul Aqsa) in this narration which the Qur’aan refers to (see response 3) categorically
- Difference 3: There is no Buraaq mentioned herein i.e. the mode of transport is not mentioned and judging by the words of the narration there is every possibility that this is another Journey.
It is therefore the opinion of Ulama that our was blessed with Miraj NOT ONCE but multiple times.
Response 6: Qadiyani Deception about sighting of Allah (SWT) and linking it to Isra & Miraj
Qadiyanees then try to further convolute and confuse the issue by presenting the Hadeeth about (physical) sighting of Allah (SWT) with the event of Isra & Miraj, lets produce the Hadeeth in full:

Narrated Masruq:I said to `Aisha, "O Mother! Did Prophet Muhammad see his Lord?" Aisha said, "What you have said makes my hair stand on end ! Know that if somebody tells you one of the following three things, he is a liar: Whoever tells you that Muhammad saw his Lord, is a liar." Then Aisha recited the Verse: 'No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision. He is the Most Courteous Well-Acquainted with all things.' (6.103) 'It is not fitting for a human being that Allah should speak to him except by inspiration or from behind a veil.' (42.51) `Aisha further said, "And whoever tells you that the Prophet knows what is going to happen tomorrow, is a liar." She then recited: 'No soul can know what it will earn tomorrow.' (31.34) She added: "And whoever tell you that he concealed (some of Allah's orders), is a liar." Then she recited: 'O Apostle! Proclaim (the Message) which has been sent down to you from your Lord..' (5.67) `Aisha added. "But the Prophet (ï·º) saw Gabriel in his true form twice." [Bukhari]
This hadeeth has NOTHING to do with Isra or Miraj at all! On the issue of physical sighting of Allah (SWT) Darul-uloom Deoband responds:
This is an issue on which there is difference of opinion. According to Hadhrat ibn Abbas [r.a], Hadhrat Abu Zar [r.a] and one group of Ulama, Prophet [s.a.w] did see Allah on the night of Miraj. Then according to group from the above group, Prophet [s.a.w] saw Allah with naked eyes while other group says it was with the eye of the heart.
According to Hadhrat Aisha [r.a], Hadhrat Anas [r.a] and a a group of Ulama are of the opinion that Prophet [s.a.w] didn't see Allah on the night of Miraj. In conclusion, there is no clear cut proof regarding this issue and nothing can be said with certainty.
and Allah knows best.
Response 7: Qadiyani Deception about how can Prophets Pray?
We (Muslims) believe that the Prophets (AS) are alive in their grave and they pray and there are many narrations on this matter but here is one example:
أنس بن مالك رضي الله عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : الأنبياء Ø£Øياء ÙÙŠ قبورهم يصلون
Sayyidina Anas (RA) narrates that said that the Prophets are alive in their graves and they pray [Bazzar]
If we believe that the Journey of Isra and Miraj was PHYSICAL then we have no problems believing that Allah (SWT) gathered all of the Prophets in Masjidul-Aqsa.
The problem with Qadiyanees is that since they are not Muslims they have difficulty digesting M-I-R-A-C-L-E-S so they keep hatching up on (silly) argument after another.
After replying to so many of silly Qadiyanee arguments; I am bored now! :P
