This is a very well known Dua that we all know and pray, it is a Dua that many have no idea that they are praying. They may look long and hard to learn, but not to worry, you already know them.

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

1; (Say): I seek refuge in the Lord of the Daybreak;

From the evil of that which He created;

From the evil of the darkness when it is intense,

And from the evil of malignant witchcraft, (This verse can be translated in other ways too)

And from the evil of the envier when he envieth.



In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

2; (Say): I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,

The King of mankind,

The God of mankind,

From the evil of the sneaking whisperer,

Who whispers in the hearts of mankind,

Of the jinn and of mankind.
