Some people think if they were in Makkah or Madina things would be different. Indeed there is a greater possibility for your faith to increase but guidance comes from Allah and many people even in these places don't taste guidance unless Allah wills it for them. So we should continue asking Allah for guidance and steadfastness. Here we see someone did not get guidance in the best of places rather got it in a place where people would least expect it.
