Signs of the Last Day - Part 3: Incident Of The Camal

This new series by Mufti Abdur-Rahman ibn Yusuf Mangera is based on Muhammad Barzanji's (d. 1103) Al-Isha'a fi Ashrat al-Sa'a and a few other works. We will first cover the "minor" signs that have past and these include the prophecies foretold by the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace). This will be followed by the "minor" signs which are yet to occur and the major signs which have been prophesied. The minor signs in this context refers to those that do not necessarily have a global manifestation and appear at different times and in different areas in varying intensities (like disobedience of parents, prevalence of dancing women) or relate to specific incidences that occurred in specific places (like the historic fire at Madina Munawwara). The Major signs, on the other hand, like the emergence of the Antichrist (Dajjal) , Gog Magog (Yajuj Majuj), and the sun rising from the west are said to be global occurrences to affect everyone. Barzanji's work is one of the more comprehensive works on this subject.
