Is trading halal if you dont know what you're doing

Salaams, I have recently started trading on the stock market and dont really know what I am doing. I buy and sell stocks based on feeling and hope which to me sounds like gambling/uncertainty. I buy and sell shares numerous times each day. So, is it permissible if I carry on trading without knowing what im doing?
