Salaam,
I was just wondering whether islam allows us to swear ... by this I mean the usage of foul language like the "F word" the "B word" and so on...
Is there also a hadith from the Bukhari or Muslim which states whether it is permissable or not?
If you have wudhu and if we said a swear word, would it break our wudhu?
I would be extremely grateful to hear your reply
JazakAllah Khair

I would like to know what is the ruling regarding Trade Unions where you pay a regular fee for the Trade Unions' support and backing in work related issues? Is it permissable?

To All Muslim Scholors
SUBJECT: INFORMATION ABOUT AN ANTI-ISLAM WEB SITE.
Respected Sir,
My name is Waqas Ahmed doing job as well as study. I am email you regarding an anti-Islamic website. Please don?t ignore this letter take it serious. First of all we have great protest when a Denmark publisher publishes the cartoon of our beloved Prophet (PBUH). We march over the roads and street to prove that we love our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) very much. But when I visit the site which I am talking about I am shocked to see the articles against Islam and cartoons of our beloved Prophet (PBUH). Where is our protest now? I read many articles almost go through all the web site which is trying to prove that Islam is a false religion. And the person which is name (Ali Sina) the maker of the site is challenge to all Muslims that he will pay 50,000/- US $ if any Muslim of the world proof his arguments wrong. Even the challenge Dr. Zakir Naik. But I don?t know why Dr. Zakir Naik did not response him and accept his challenge. Now I am thinking that in this whole world there is nobody who can face that bloody person which is disgusting Islam easily. Now please if anybody have knowledge then I never ever request you to debate him and answer his questions. Now this is my humble request to visit that site and do something for Islam. I am also sending this letter to all Islamic website all over the world. Kindly take it as a serious matter.
The site name is [removed]

reading the reply to Q88 i was very surprised to read that smoking cannot be linked to a shorter life span as the period of every one's life is predetermined. However can this argument then not be extended to suicide as the person committing suicide can claim his period of life has been fixed by Allah already so his attempting suicide will not make any difference.

Salaams Mufti Sahib,
Please can u tell me if you need Wudu to pray quran on the net. the site i refer to is darul uloom burys website which has the FULL quran on it where people can pray it page to page. i was thinking that wont the same rule apply as the normal qurans we read which have hardback cardboard covers and "jub-daans" around them. as they do not have ANY ayats of the quran on them but as they form the physical part of the quran at THAT particular moment we need to have wudo as touching these would mean touching the quran also as both are part of the same entity at THAT particular moment. if will be completley different i know if the pages of the quran with the acutally ayats and the hardback cardboard and "jub-daan" are totally sperated. Would you therefore also require wudo when praying the quran on PC as at THAT particluar moment you are display the word /ayats of the Quran on the PC screen the whole of the PC would form part of the entity of the quran once you have come out of that screen it will no longer be considered part of the quran no more????? please help calrify

Assalamu 'alaykum,
In the compilation of duas called Reflections of Pearls by Inam Uddin and Shyakh Abdurrahman ibn Yusuf Mangera, I read that the dua of an oppressed person, even if he is a non-believer or sinful, is accepted with certainty. Can you please provide any proofs for this?
A friend of mine have the following thoughts:
Since a group of qadyanis were shot to death during their prayer in Pakistan, and the rest of their community made supplication in which they prayed that Allah would take vengeance over their enemies, and that's why there was an earthquake in Pakistan approximately 12 hours after the shooting.
I hope you can provide an answer as soon as possible, since this seems to have an effect on the iman of my friend.

Assalamualaykum,
i read a post recently with regards to cosmetic surgery. i understand that it is forbidden and one of the reasons can be put down to the fact that it changes the way Allah (s.w.t) made us, however what is the ruling with regards to having braces, as this also changes the way Allah has made us.
JazakAllah khair for your time.

Salam,
why in the UK do the deobandi ulema still say that it is a reprehnesible innovation to celebrate the mawlid, even though the basis for the rejection of the practise in the indian sub-continent, is not found here?
Mawlana Khalil Ahmad Saharanfuri quotes Rashid Ahmed Gangohi in a booklet of fatwas entitled al-Muhannad `ala al-Mufannad: `Aqa'id
Ahl al-Sunna wa al-Jama`a (p. 48) as saying in a fatwa "We know not that
any Muslim can rule against the lawfulness of celebrating it [the Milad]
or declare it an innovation" but only after listing conditions for its
permissibility. Namely (p. 47-48): "Provided it takes place outside the
times of obligatory worship... and in gatherings devoid of the matters
condemned by the Law."
Saharanfuri comments (p. 48):
"From this it is known that we do not denounce the commemoration of his
noble birth - Allah bless and greet him - but we do denounce the
condemnable matters that join such commemoration, as you have seen in the Mawlid gatherings that take place in India. I mean the mention of flimsy and forged narrations, the mixing of men and women, the waste incurred by lighting candles and decorations, as well as the belief that this
commemoration is obligatory and the accusations, insults, and declaration
of disbelief (takfir) against those that do not attend their gatherings
with them, and other such denounced matters condemned by the Law from
which one can hardly (p. 49) find any such gatherings free. But if a
Mawlid gathering is devoid of denounced matters, then never, but never
(hasha) would we say that the commemoration of the Noble Birth is a
denounced matter (munkar) or an innovation (bid`a), and how can it be
thought that a Muslim would say such an ugly statement! So the attribution
of this statement to us is also among the fabrications of the atheists and
lying antichrists - may Allah Almighty disappoint them!"

Could the Ulamaa plz shed some light on the tsunami, in an Islamic point of view. Also give some Naseehat if possible?
Some relative(not too practicing) heard the Imam in a Masjid say this was an adhaab from Allah (swt) , he got angy and said how can this be an adhaab for all the poor people and children, if it was an adhaab why wasn't it sent to America (Na'udhubillah) etc, where so many people are sinning openly?
How do we answer something like this?

Assallamu aliakum, dear ulama, i want to know about the executing of so called "apostates and collaboraters" by beheading them. This has become the norm in iraq and it is filmed.
Is such a method allowed in islam, ive heard of beheading by stiking a single blow to the neck and instantly severing the head but to use a machete and cut through slowly n cause maximum pain to the victim seems far from the techings of jihad.
Any answers would be appreciated.
