impurity of dog saliva

If a dog licks you on clothes or body, what is the correct way to clean it? There is a famous Hadith which mentions that if a dog licks a utensil, the latter should be cleaned 7 times with water and once with soil. Does this apply to just utensils or clothes/body as well?

Anything other then utensils, If the dog sniffs and leaves wetness behind on your clothes then you just need to wash that thrice and squeeze after every wash. If it’s on your body then you just need to wash until the impurity is removed.
