Asalamu alaikum I have very bad acidity where if I do not eat small snacks through out the day I start getting nauseous and alot of saliva comes out It gets so bad that my lips burn from the acidity my non muslim doctor has told me dont fast kindly let me know what should i do jazakallah khair

الجواب حامداومصليا

Due to your illness if you are unable to fast or if you fast it would increase your illness then the Shari'ah permits that you do not fast. Rather, once you get better you make up those fasts you have missed.

منها المرض اذا خاف علي نفسه التلف أوذهاب عضو يفطر بالاجماع وان خاف زيادة العلة وامتداده فكذالك عندنا وعليه القضاء اذا أفطر كذافي المحيط
