Question: Tayammum
SalamAleykum

I have a question about tayammum.
Can a person do tayammum with snow? Can you please note wit all object that i can full fill my tayammum for example sand. But i live in Europe and there is no sand.

According to Abū Ḥanīfah and Muḥammad, Tayammum is valid with everything which is of the genus of earth, like soil, sand, stones, gypsum, lime, kohl and arsenic.

So making Tayammum with snow is not permissible.

ويجوز التيمم عند أبي حنيفة و محمد رحمهما الله تعالي بكل ما كان من جنس الأرض كالتراب والرمل والحجروالجص والنورة والكحل والزرنيخ
