Question: Eid
Assalamoualikum wa wa

What are the sunnats of Eidul adha? I seem to have heard/read somewhere that it is preferable not to eat after fajr until after the eid salaat, is this correct?

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

Sunnah on the Day of 'Eed

1. to rise early
2. to clean the teeth with Miswaak
3. to have a masnoon Bath (ghusl)
4. to dress in one's best garmets in an ISlamic Manner
5. to use 'Itr
6. to avoid eating before 'Eed Salaah
7. to go early for 'Eed Salaah
9. To read the Takbeerat of Tashreeq in a loud voice while going for 'Eed Salaah
10. to use different routes to and from the place of 'Eed
11 to eat the meat of Qurbani (sacrifice) of on's own offering, after the 'Eedul Ad'ha Salaah
