assalamualaykum wrwb
i have heard that keeping pictures in the house is haraam. 1) i have
told some members of my family about this and they do not want to get
rid of family photos especially of deceased. 2) we have newspapers in
the house but they get recycled and thrown away anyway so would i have
to delete the photos on the newspapers after purchasing then?because i
feel like it would be just a waste of time.

salaam all, could you please inform me about a dawah group who come from karachi, pakistan, called dawati islami. They say they go on jamaat, where green coloured imamas and stress the following of the Sunnah, are they tableeghi jamaat? Also i know the beard has to be a fist lenght but are you allowed to trim under the chin, i beleive its called khut.

Are we allowed to cut down trees? How about grass? I have haerd that it is not good to do so as they worship Allah Ta'ala by contanttly doing dhikr. If we cut a plant are we sinful? What is it done by accident?

Assalamu Alaikum,
(I) I was wondering if you could please tell me how the Prophet S.A.W looked like, i.e colour, height etc.?
(ii) Is one allowed to chemically straighten hair, if they are wishing to grow thier hair i.e. according to sunnah?
(iii) Please give me a dua or surah in order for me to strenghten my memory?
(iv) In 'Ihsaan' we are meant to read salaat as if we see Allaah, What does this mean, visualise him? If not how can one achieve this?

I know the prophet SAW said to wear white but I recently herd that there is no hadith saying the prophet wore a WHITE turban!

my brothers bring in newspapaers constantly into the home. which are filled with pictures
crossing out the eyes etc wastes so much of my time and within the week or so they get recyclyed and used up or thrown away,
so is it permissible to keep such pictures in the home because the newspaper will be thrown out anyway?

I was recently asked at work why do Muslims consider Friday as there holy day, apart from giving a simple answer, that Jews have Saturdays, Christaians have Sundays and we have Fidays. Are there any other reasons for Fiday beign our holy day??

Is it haram for a male to cut his hair at different lengths, such as number 0 on the side and 3 on top.
Also is it permissible to have designs in his hair, such as a shaved line goin through your hair?
Also explain to me why it is haram and where it is stated?

Assalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu,
In a hadeeth it says that the prophet S stopped people from combing their hair every day. This hadeeth refers to men as we know.
What I would like to know that does it mean that it is Haraam to comb the hair everyday or is it just makrooh or is the hukum something else? What if a man DOES comb his hair everyday, will he get gunah?
What made us think that it is right to comb the hair everyday is that this hadeeth may come under the category oof cleanliness so if a Muslim wants to be clean and put a good impression of Muslim men to the public then he may comb his hair everyday, we are not looking at the fashion of today. Also, at the end of the day, everything, every act is according to a person's intentions so that he may be rewardeed according to it. So if the intention is for cleanliness, then is it a sin to comb the hair everyday?
In other words, what is the exact meaning of this hadeeth?
