When going to a shop or store and the person at the counter is not the same gender as you, sometimes when giving/recieving change there is contact with the other persons hand. I want to know if we are sinful for this.

i want to select name for my baby, but my dear ones want that i should select this name with the help of its date of birth, calculating by which alphabet it should start. They say that it may effect the luck of my baby. i dont believe all this and like some other names, but if selecting a baby name with the help of Numerology is considered right in islam i'll go for it for my baby's better luck. please i want detailed anser.

IS IT MUST TO DO BAIT I have spent a lot of time with the Tablighi Jammat and keep going with them regularly. We keep hearing from brothers in the line of Ziker about the Bait and its implications and positive effects, they also say if you do not have a spiritual guide then shaytaan becomes your Ameer.
I want to know, (1) Is it must to do bait and if bait is not done the person will be committing a sin. (2) How to find a Wali and be sure that he is the right person to do bait. (3) If bait is made and the person to whom bait is made he stop from going with Jammat then what to do.

my question is i have a homosexual relation with 2 guys like for 3 years in that 3 years i have do for 14-15 times but like from 3 years i didnt do that sin and i make a serious toba with allah that i will never do that sin again,but im scared now that my father told me that if muslim men do this kind of sin ,allah will never clear his sin and also told me that ,allah will never accept his dua for 40 years and also he told that allah will never ever clear my sin ,is that correct ,and i also did hunderds of time masturbution is that also a a big sin , but one of my freind told me that if i do a hajj my all sins will get clear and i will be like new born baby type is that correct .so plz help with this question.but write now i decided not to do those all sins which i did so far,plz help me imam saab.

Assalamualaikum Muffi Saab, my question is...
Is it a sin to leave shoes upside down - so the part which usually touches the ground is facing upwards?
Is this simply culture or does this hold in Islam? I took my shoes off quickly without looking and one landed upside down ( then someone told me to put it right way up) and the persons response made me confused.

My grand mother is 75 years old. She is senyl i.e. she cannot conversate. She does not understand when anyone speaks with her. She has lost her memory, she cannot even recognise her own children. She has lots of money from pension,etc.
-I would like to know if it is permissible to take out money from her account to do her Qurbani
- Is zakat wajib on her? Can you just take out her money to pay her own zakat?
- Is salat compulsory on her? If so, is it necessary o take out fidya from her money for all the salat and rozas she missed. (she is in this condition for nearly 2 years )

I would like to know to what extent does a son have to take abuse from his father, and what is the minimum requirement of responsibility towards him?
We are four brothers Mash'Allah. My father has been most unreasonable and cruel towards me , my brothers and my mother as far back as I can remember. He divorced my mother 6 years ago to marry a younger woman, threw my mother out of he house, and has wrongfully taken the joint property she owned. He tortures me and my brothers to the extent that, one of my brothers had a serious nervous breakdown, I fear that his disgusting behavior and verbal, mental abuse is always affecting my mental state, and cannot cope with this anymore.
I am 35 years old, married with a beautiful son and this is affecting my married life and work as well.
He is receiving pension but we still look afer him financially. Since he has divorced my mother we live with her and he lives seperately. He is constantly slandering my mother not only to me but to every person he comes in contact with.
Apparently he is a religious man, and has been with Talighi Jamaat. He has not supported any of us financially for about 16-20 years, inspite of having funds to do so.
He is now insisting that I break of relations with my brother (whom he has always been against for no reason), and and is trying to break my relations with my mother as well, and this whole family will break up.
Can you please guide me how to cope with this situation and how can I save myself?

sallam, I am 17 years of age and i am growing grey hairs, i find it hard to live my day to day life becasue i have to cover my hair everytime i go somewhere, i have been told by alot of people to dye my hair, but i want to know the islamic way, i.e what dye i can use, which is appropriate for my hair, please reply, wasalam.

I have a (taj company) pocket qUR'AN which you can get in 3 parts, the cover of the qur'an is made out of card and the card cover is covered by a plastic cover. Am i allowed to touch the qur'an without wudhu and am i allowed to keep it in my pocket in a state of being without wudhu?
