Al-jawab billahi at-taufeeq (the answer with Allah's guidance)
1) If you are in doubt that you have made intention of Talaq. Then Talaq has not taken place, because Niyyah is determination. Hence, the feeling of doubts, thoughts and whispers are not determination. This is based on a known juristic principle;
"Al Yaqeen La Yazulu Bish Shak" (Certainty is not invalidated by doubt)
Meaning: doubts will not invalidate Talaq. However, certainty (i.e. Niyyat) will invalidate Talaq.
"Al Yaqeen Yazulu Bil Yaqeen" (Certainty is invalidated by certainty)
(Al Ashbah Wan Nazair Pg. 60)
You must discard your doubts. You must know that, Talaq takes affect when it is clearly uttered or written and allusively uttered or written with the intention made at the same time. (Al Hidayah)
Hence, you have not made intention at the same time while you said those words. In other words, the Niyyah of Talaq must initiate from the husband at the same time and not after, which makes it ineffectual.
So, based on the rulings above, delete the chat and do not ponder over it and in the future there is no need for you to save your chat with the wife, as these would just bring in doubt and confusion.
Always trying to make things more difficult on yourself may lead to psychological problems, and may open the doors for the Shaytan.
