Aslam o alaikum
Here i 've a question asked by my wife newly converted to Islam Alhamdulillah. What does Quran or Hadees says about a muslim who quit Islam and converts to Christianity or another religion.
Maybe you 've read in the newspaper about the afghani muslim who converted to Christianity and according to Sharriyah deserves the death penalty. We 've problems understanding this situation.
We'll be very thankful if you reply.
Allah bless us All.

Assalamu alaikum Dear repected Ulema,
I would like to know if Ijma-as-Sahabah is a stronger evidence than a hadith in the Hanafi usool?
Also, how many sahabah does there have to be to reach an ijama?
I have heard that the number is 5.
I have been of the understanding that Ijma can outweight a hadith because it is unthinkable that a group of Sahabah can contradict the sunnah of Rasullullah (saw) or make an error.

Dear respected Ulama - e - Kiraam,
Assalamu Alaikum,
Someone once asked me: 'If destiny lies in Allah's hands, then why will people who haven't even been shown the light of Islam get punished?'
This person gave an example of what they meant. They said:
A child is born into a non-muslim family. This family live in a country where there are no other religions known except for.. let's just say Christianity. So this child is brought up as a Christian. They have absolutely any knowldege of any other religion.
So this person being a Christian or whatever religion.. they will end up going to Jahannam because they did not accept islam. But this person didnt in his life ever hear about it. But again... this person will be put into hell even though it wasnt his fault that he lived in a place where only his religion was known.
It would be different if a Muslim had come to the place and called them to islam but that didnt happen for them. So he will be punished?
What i know of this is that many Ulama e Kiraam have told us to not even go near this subject. But if anyone does have an answer, I would greatly appreciate it if the answer be put forward.
May Allah Ta'ala reward you all. Ameen.
Wassalam.

Asalam Alaykum, I have come accross an ayat in quran that it says shirk is not forgiven, lets just say a muslim who believed and worshipped Allah alone came across this evil, believed in it, and took another (...) without foolishness and without ignorance, and then he automatically became kafr (lost his iman, amal), then repented to Allah to forgive, will Allah forgive him if he is still alive? There seems to be two views about this, 1) its forgiven till death, or 2) its not
Which view is correct?

1.
It is an established fact that all things are recognised by their name, even Allah (swt) first taught names to the father of Mankind Adam (as). Your sect also has names such as Sunni, Ahl' ul Sunnah or Ahl'ul Sunnah wa al Jamaah. Direct us towards any such verse of the Qur'an wherein any of these names have been indicated.
2.
If these titles cannot be located in the Qur'an could you produce this title from any hadith of the holy prophet (s)? Produce any such 'mutawatir' 'marfuu' or 'saheeh' narration from your books with a complete source (meaning the name of the book, version number, page number, edition etc) wherein the names Sunni, Ahl'ul Sunnah and Ahlul Sunnah wa al Jamaah have been mentioned by the holy prophet (saww) as a sect of Islam.
3.
If these are not to be found in the hadeeth, then at least come up with an exact date, month and year of hijrah from the history of Islam when these names were adopted as your identity.
4.
What were you famously known as before adopting these names?
5.
Why have you forsaken your previous title?
6.
According to your sect, an introduction of any new thing to Islam constitutes bid'a, therefore to effectuate such an introduction is also a bid'a, so who was the person responsible for introducing this bid'a?
7.
Could you provide decisive evidence with regards to the meanings of Sunni, Ahl Sunnah and Ahl'ul Sunnah wal Jamaah?
8.
Which one is the most ancient of the three titles?
9.
Which one of the three titles do you consider the best?
10.
Why are the remaining two of lesser merit? Which one of those two is the least and what is the reason behind it?
