Sihr(black magic)

I wonder how these things affect targeted person. How should one protect oneself from these evils? If it is established that there are bad effects of black magic etc, how can be they removed?

The menace of black magic & other related evils is very rampant these days in society. People just cannot tolerate any happiness to others. There are persons who do this evil business for these ill minded people. Furthermore, there are also persons who claim to cure against these evils but again mostly fraudulent ? I think. It is also frequently claimed that cure against black magic is extremely difficult and dangerous for ordinary people. Hence, more and more people are falling prey to them. I wonder how these things affect targeted person. How should one protect oneself from these evils? If it is established that there are bad effects of black magic etc, how can be they removed? Please highlight in the light of Islamic teachings.

Khatamun Nabiyeen

I came across the following on some Qadiani website.

Only to the general public, the finality of Prophethood (Khatamun Nabiyeen) means the last Prophet, this is not the correct meaning of the term, for the knowledgeable people. Even if a Prophet comes after the Era of Muhammad, it will make no difference to the end of prophethood that is associated with Muhammad. (Tahzeerun Naas by Maulana Qasim Nanotwi, page 3, 25).

also in moulana ashraf thanvi (ra) book nashut teeb he was quoted a hadith in which the prophet (saw) says 'the 1st thing which allah created was my noor from his noor and from it he created the whole world'

is this hadith sahih or has moulana ashraf thanvi (ra) just used it for fazail. the brealwi quote this hadith to support the fact the prohet (saw) is noor and claim so did moulana thanvi (ra)

Apostasy

Assalamualaikum
Respected Mufti Sahab,
My question is with regards to the 'converted Christian' Abdul Rahman. He was imprisoned, accused of apostasy- or denouncing Islam in favour of Christianity. He was facing the death penalty from the Afghan government if he did not denounce Christianity.
On many Islamic forums, I have read views of Muslims critisising the Afghan government for their actions. The most common argument is, Muslims should be tolerant towards these issues as it is only adding fuel to the fire of the Islamophobic war. Could you please clarify what our thoughts should be on this issue, as opposing something that is in the Shariah, even unknowingly, can prove to be fatal for our Iman.

What Madhab does one chose??

salams...

i am really confused with the concept of choosing a madhab (school of thought)

is it vital to follow a specifc mudhab? can you agree to some concepts of one mudhab and follow another? can you pick and choose sayings of a madhab? how do you know what mudhab is right? do you yourself choose a madhab?

what happens to the person who is in this state that they dont know what mudhab to choose? will his prayers be accepted?

do you strongly have to abide by the choosen mudhabs saying?

i am so sorry if i have boombarded you with theses questions but i and many people in my situation would be grateful

Jazarkhallahu khayran

may ALLAH reward you for your help

Shaytan & Nuffs

Assalamu alaikum:

Does shaytaan mean only Iblis or all evil jinns those follow him? If not, can evil jinn also influence human thinking like shaytaan?
In a Hadith, I found in Ramadan shaytaan is (are) kept in prison. What are the evil factors those inspire human sin during Ramadan?

I'll be grateful if you kindly give answer about the evil factors those give 'aswasa' to human and what 'dua' should we do to get rid of those evil 'aswasa'?

Allah Hafez.

Jinn attack

was attacked by a jinn at night this month in Ramadhan.

I had come home after being at the mosque praying Taraweeh. I remember asking Allah to help me get the best out of Ramadhan because in the past I had always had weak Ramadhans because of somthing or other. In the night I felt the steps of the jinn walking up to my face & it just shook me a lot. I tried to say Allahu akbar & the Kalimat but it was as if it tried to hold my tongue. I felt as if it had made me swallow something as my stomach felt unsettled after. When I managed to blurt out the Kalimat it went. this has left me very confused about Ramadhan although it hasnt made me weaker. i thought the evil jinns were all locked up in this month so why did this happen when I had been in Taraweeh trying to do good deeds begging Allahs forgiveness. I would like to know if this is something that has happened to people before. Please note that this has happened to me since I was 4yrs old.I am the only muslim in my family & although I dont talk to my mother she is known to deal in Black Magic & has pictures of me. I have a jinn come to me perhaps 6 times a year & it just holds me down which makes it hard to breathe & then leaves after a few seconds. Can i recite anything to permanently get rid of the jinns? I recite Ayatul Kursi everynight + the 3 Quls & the last 2 Ayahs of Surah Baqarah every 3 nights. The jinns & evil shayateen run from a house where the Quraan is recited, does this apply to playing a CD too? Shukran for your time Ya Sheikh.

Dawud zahiri

Was the math-hab of Dawud Zahiri rightly guided?

I have read that the zahiris did not consider it a sin to beat up one's parents. Is this true?
