Salaam Is there any consensus that wearing nike is kufr considering the following: a) the name is based of a false goddess b) it is believed that the swoosh is based off the wing of the false goddess c) in recent years nike produced a product that read "goddess of victory", I say this because some say the connotations of kufr have disappeared. I ask because although it is easy for me to avoid wearing, i sometimes am asked to handle or pass on clothes that bear this name and/or logo to siblings or family. Please distinguish between it being an act of kufr, and it being something impermissible but not kufr

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

الجواب حامداومصليا

Nike is well known as a sport branding rather than a religious symbol. It is permissible to wear and not a Kufr act.
