Is the spinal cord of a chicken haram. if a chicken curry is cooked containing the neck of the chicken, (containg the spinal cord), will that render the whole curry haram?jazakalah

The spinal cord of chicken is Halaal for consumption, if the chicken has been slaughtered correctly according to Islamic rites.
