Sanghis are hurt by the article in the Independent. There are caustic comments under the article.

Music is certainly not something a Muslim should indulge in, but the desperate people of Kashmir, and Palestine, and other places around the world, try various coping mechanisms inherited from their social customs, and if some good comes from it, perhaps their sin will be forgiven.

Dreams are not a proof in Shariah, but a pious scholar once related a dream about Imam Jassas Razi RA. Imam Jassas Razi RA was an eminent mufassir, but he was from among the Mutazila. The pious scholar saw him in a dream in white robes with a radiant face. He asked Imam Jassas what transpired with him. Imam Jassas Razi RA smiled and told him Allah Taala had forgiven him his heresy.

This is not to say that essential aqaid can be compromised, but we should never despair of the Mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa Taala.

A Kashmiri opened up today with us.
It was a brief episode of five to ten minutes only but still was most revealing or rather like combing with a metallic comb.
(1) The exodus of Kashmiri Pandits was engendered by late Jagmohan, the then Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.
(2) In the first step these Kashmiri Pandits were shifted to Jammu where they lived in tents. The Dogras gave them very difficult time - including kidnapping of women.
(3) The first rape of a Kashmiri underage girl by an outsider was by a Bihari Muslim.
(4) Bihari and Bengali Muslims introduced drug culture in Kashmir.
(5) The Aligarh people who were given the responsibility to educate Kashmiris misused the opportunity to whet their carnal appetite and to unleash moral anarchy.

I do not have any reason to doubt this person and whatever be the level of truth in these sentiments it is too much for me at the moment to take in.

I find it very difficult to sort out this female called Yana Mir(chandani).
Can some one help me in deciding about her true identity?
