Yesterday’s message in the Friday lecture by Imam Cassim Rashid Ahmed was very clear:
*Support the BDS movement.*
Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions is a nonviolent Palestinian-led movement promoting boycotts, divestments, and economic sanctions against Israel.
The Sheikh advised that don't fall into the trap of thinking that boycotts don't work, as some people want you to believe that:
_some way or another, every major company has a connection with the genocide supporting States, the IDF or it's financiars._'
Rather targeted boycotting, as advised by the BDS, is working and needs to be supported. Thousands of companies supporting the genocidal regime of Israel and its war efforts have been forced to shut down as a direct result of these boycotts.
