Dear Muftisays Community,

In light of the recent tragic events in Gaza, we believe it is crucial for us, as a community, to come together and take a stand against the bombing of hospitals and refugee camps. Our collective voice can make a difference and send a powerful message for peace, justice, and human rights.

The innocent lives lost, the suffering of the people, and the destruction of essential infrastructure are heartbreaking. We cannot stand by in silence while such injustices occur. We must unite, raise our voices, and make a difference.

To do that, we urge you to sign the petition condemning the bombing of hospitals and refugee camps in Gaza. This petition is a way for us to express our solidarity with the people of Gaza and to demand accountability for these acts of violence. By signing, you are showing your support for human rights, justice, and peace in the region.

You can find link on change. org Search for "Petition to condemn the bombing of a hospital and humanitarian aid for Palestine"

Please take a moment to sign the petition, and also share it with your friends and family, both within and outside our community. Together, we can amplify our impact and make the world aware of the injustices occurring in Gaza.

Let's stand together for a world where the sanctity of hospitals and the safety of refugees are respected and protected. Our collective efforts can help bring positive change to those who need it the most.

Thank you for your support and commitment to a more just and peaceful world.

Although many would agree, it's still worth a try inshaAllah.

According to the Change.org website, it became the biggest petition and movement in history. In 2021, the police officer Derek Chauvin was convicted of the murder of George Floyd, making the petition a success.

Quote:
a petition started by a 15 year-old girl demanding justice for George Floyd and his family reached more than 19 million signatures. According to the Change.org website, it became the biggest petition and movement in history.

Petitions really don't make a difference. They move to parliament what suits then and reject what doesn't. There's been many petitions that reached more than 300,000 votes but nothing happened because they don't want it. It got rejected with "reasons". Petitions are there to make one feel there's a choice. There really isn't.

I'm one who also agrees, yet give hope.

There's always an agenda in which ones are accepted and which are not. It's all just a big game.

It won’t change things politically. But it might help the Palestinians in knowing that they are not abandoned and people around the world care.

The petition is also a deception which deludes the Muslims into being satisfied with themselves that they have done their part in the situation. When this is not even close to "doing their part".

Also, the Muslims of today will do anything to hear the kuffar appreciating them. So the petition serves to show the kuffar that even in the face of such adversity we Muslims are still very civilized according to the standards of civilization defined by the kuffar.

Petition to hold Sunak accountable for complicity in War crimes.

The above petition seems more useful. If nothing else Sunak just like Tony Blair will forever be remembered as a genocidal war criminal.
