Sorry but I am disinclined to believe the Saudi's or their apologists, given the track record of MBS. And how they try to reframe everything to make it look like a false accusation or misrepresentation when it is clearly not.
The Middle East Monitor in their report stated, the crack down
Was due to the tensions between Iran and Israel recently.
I suspect MBS is trying to Hide the fact from his populace that his government also participated in the defense of Israel from Iran's attack.
Furthermore despite multiple reports from media from around the world. That Jordan, U.A.E. and Saudi have established a land route , for the transports of goods to Israel. In order to undermine the blockade by the Houthis they still pretend to deny it.
BREAKING: HAMAS TO ACCEPT CEASEFIRE DEAL WITHIN HOURS
The Saudi news channel reports that Hamas will accept the Egypt's proposal for a cease-fire and the release of hostages within hours.
Hamas said it has received a promise from the U.S. for a cease-fire and full Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, in the third phase of the deal, and a promise that Israeli forces will not continue fighting after the release of the hostages.
The Israeli cabinet has voted unanimously to close Al Jazeeras operations in the country. The communications minister says the orders against the network will go into effect immediately. Al Jazeera Media Network calls the move a criminal act that violates human rights.
Hamas says this round of truce negotiations in Cairo has ended, as chief Ismail Haniyeh blames Netanyahu for sabotaging talks.
The Palestinian group says it wants guarantees from the United States that
Israel will not launch a ground invasion in Rafah, as officials in Israel which is yet to send a delegation to Cairo insist the attack will happen regardless of whether a ceasefire deal is reached.
Meanwhile, Israeli antigovernment protesters are demanding that Netanyahu agree to a truce and bring back captives held in Gaza.
Netanyahu Hoped Hamas Would Reject the Cease-fire Offer. When It Didn't, He Turned to Sabotage.
Israel's criminal defendant prime minister, more focused on saving his incompetent far-right government than saving the captives who have spent seven months trapped in Gaza, is doing everything he can to torpedo Israel's last and best chance at bringing the captives home.
The Israeli military has begun dropping red leaflets on the eastern areas of #Rafah, telling Palestinians to flee to al-Mawasi, claiming that the displacement will be temporary.?
.?
The leaflets state: To all of the residents and those currently sheltering in the Rafah Camp, the Brazil Camp and the neighbourhoods of Al-Shabura and Al-Zohour. Remaining in these areas puts your lives in danger.?
.?
The leaflets also warn that the Israeli military is about to operate with force against the terror organizations in the area you currently reside, adding that anyone in the area puts themselves and their family members in danger.?
The New York Times reports that an Israeli official who spoke on condition of anonymity and Mousa Abu Marzouk, a senior Hamas official, both blamed the Israeli prime minister for stalling the current truce talks.?
.?
The Israeli source is reported as telling the newspaper that the two parties were close to an agreement a couple of days ago, but Netanyahus comments about a planned #Rafah offensive had forced Hamas to harden its demands.?
.?
We were very close, but Netanyahus narrow-mindedness aborted an agreement," Abu Marzouk told the newspaper.?

Why do the might respects India. We are sure it is not for Indian Technology, military power etc. Indians have nothing compare to what Americans or the west have.
My analysis is, it is because Indians give business to the west. Arabs also do business with the west, why don't they get the same respect as what Indians get. Why Arab voice is not heard?
Republican Senators Threaten the ICC Prosecutor over Possible Israel Arrest Warrants
EXCLUSIVE: You Have Been Warned: Republican Senators Threaten the ICC Prosecutor over Possible Israel Arrest Warrants
Read the full letter, obtained by Zeteo, which threatens sanctions in defense of Netanyahu.
A group of influential Republican senators has sent a letter to International Criminal Court (ICC) chief prosecutor Karim Khan, warning him not to issue international arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli officials, and threatening him with severe sanctions if he does so.
In a terse, one-page letter obtained exclusively by Zeteo, and signed by 12 GOP senators, including Tom Cotton of Arkansas, Floridas Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz of Texas, Khan is informed that any attempt by the ICC to hold Netanyahu and his colleagues to account for their actions in Gaza will be interpreted not only as a threat to Israels sovereignty but to the sovereignty of the United States.

Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh said on May 6 that Hamas accepted a Gaza ceasefire proposal from Egypt and Qatar.
Al-Jazeera
A leading Hamas source tells Al Jazeera that the group has informed Egyptian and Qatari mediators of its agreement with a temporary ceasefire proposal.?
