Israeli real estate firm pushes settlement building in Gaza

An Israeli real estate firm is pushing to build settlements for Israelis in Gaza, in areas where the army’s bombardment has left Palestinian homes in ruins.

As genocide unfolds, Israel settlers plan ‘dream’ beach house in Gaza

In a shocking development, a coalition of Israeli settler groups, reportedly funded by the apartheid state, has convened to discuss a “practical” plan to build the first settlements in Gaza. This revelation comes amidst the ongoing genocidal war waged by the Israeli government against Palestinians.

The conference, organised by a coalition of settler groups, is raising serious concerns about the intention to build houses on top of destroyed Palestinian homes. Harey Zahav, an Israeli real estate firm notorious for constructing illegal settlements in the Occupied West Bank, unveiled a plan for homes in Gaza. Their advertisements shockingly proclaim, “A house on the beach is not a dream!” as the death toll in Gaza rises to 20,000.

The brazenness of planning new settlements in Gaza, even as the Israeli government is accused of committing genocidal acts against Palestinians, has sparked condemnation from various quarters. Critics argue that the explicit and blatant post-genocide colonisation strategy employed by the Israeli government constitutes further war crimes.

Building settlements on the ruins of destroyed Palestinian homes brings back painful memories of the Nakba when more than 500 Palestinian towns and villages were razed to the ground by Zionist militias.

As Israel pushes on with its genocidal war despite international condemnation, an extremist fringe of Jewish settlers are mobilising with the support of the Israeli occupation army to push a radical expansionist vision focused on permanently displacing Palestinians.

Settler groups openly advocate annexing and settling lands across the Occupied West Bank, aiming to fulfil an ideological commitment to occupy the biblical land of Israel. Key figures driving this agenda even call for violently expelling over two million Gazans to enable rebuilding evacuated settlements there.

Beyond political cover, the genocide in Gaza hands extremists more funding and weapons while weakening legal deterrence for vigilantism against Palestinian communities. In the West Bank, dozens of incidents of settlers destroying property and displacing villagers have occurred since 7 October, with near total impunity.

Leaders of illegal settler groups now expressly state that, in the aftermath of conflict, “no one stops you or tells you not to do it.” The settlers’ sense of inflated power is also reviving calls to annex large swathes of the West Bank, along with proposals to forcibly “transfer” Palestinian populations.

Rather than calm tensions, Israel’s genocide in Gaza has become a pretext for fulfilling a dark, messianic vision of Greater Israel built upon perpetual oppression. It is feared that, without urgent intervention to halt settler expansion and violence, facts on the ground threaten to bury any faint hopes for peaceful co-existence.

Bismillah.

So how de we keep moving forward? The energy seems to be depleting amongst people here in the west, when it comes to GAZA.

Looking on my watsapp and on my School Watsapp group. That initial feeling of I need to do something is vaining. I was being flooded with Covid stuff for a lot longer, then I am now. That anti-Covid narrative energy seemed to be relentless.

Maybe my perceptions are wrong. Maybe it’s just people do not want to see the same gruesome picture and accounts coming out of GAZA. Every single day.

Perhaps in the modern age our attention spans are limited. And our minds become distracted, and the same time pulled in multiple directions . Yesterday it was Syria, then the Uyghrs, then we had the Earthquakes in Turkiye and Morocco, and a whole host of issues in between. the Kashmiris and Rhongiya are now almost an afterthought. And In recent days it’s Sudan civil war. There seems to be a pervading feeling that this Ummah is going through one disaster to another and now end in sight.

Perhaps people feel nothing that they do will have any real impact,so what’s the point, we tried everything.

A Sense of defeatism and despair has seeped in. People maybe Overwhelmed by a sense of hopelessness.

Or People just feel depressed thinking about what’s happening in GAZA and rather not discuss it, anymore.

Any thoughts?

I think people are either feeling despair that the aggression continues despite rallies and petitions and the like, or people are getting desensitised after watching scenes of devastation, death and suffering every day continuously for over 2 months and this is as you say, after so many other disasters in the ummah.

I dont know which it is but my thoughts are we must force ourselves to continue to do everything in our power while remaining within the limits of the shari'ah and while turning to Allah Almighty knowing only HE can help and also force feelings of empathy when watching the news coming through

I think this can be achieved by thinking, "I'm just seeing and hearing but people in Gaza and all over Palestine are living it and have been living it fpr decades"

Just my thoughts on this....but sharing and hope others share so we can motivate each other

We live in a fast moving world.

We see the same atrocious behaviour daily and its become normal.

Been there, done that, seen it....neeext

A bit like fashion. People get bored of the lies and then we hear comments like, "You still on about that"

The idea from the kudfar point of view is to carry on with the propaganda until it becomes normal. People have gotten used to it and it no longer feeds their dopamine.

If you want to bring back attention, focus somewhere else for a short period and then come back to wake up those receptors in others.

It's sad.

On the other hand, the non Muslims are still going hard to expose so much, probably because its new to them and they've just realised that they've been lied to all their lives.

Today we see posters or memes shared by non Muslims showing images of Taliban and western government. On the Taliban, its says, "we were told they were terrorists" and on the Western government, it says, "These are the real terrorists" Alhumdulillah, people have woken up whilst, since the Muslims already know this, they are looking for another source for their dopamine.

Only a few genuine people will continue their fight and pleads.

And Allah knows best

Personally I have stopped sharing the posts and photos on death and destruction.

Instead I go to google images, download photos of of the Palestinians performing Salah amongst the rubble, reciting Quran, making Dua, and so on and so forth.

And I add a caption to them, such as the following

“The hearts that are filled with the remembrance are ALLAH, cannot be overwhelmed by despair”

“If ALLAH is all you have then ALLAH is all you need”

“Those who have complete trust in the supreme power of ALLAH, cannot be defeated by any worldly superpower”.

I share these with any useful long form articles, or stories of courage and resilience from Palestine.

I think it is probably better to keep the story of GAZA and Palestine at the forefront. And in the conscience of the Ummah.

In conclusion, I remember an old audio cassette lecture by Shaykh Riyadh ul Haq in the late 1990’s.

He said something along the lines of even our concern for the suffering of the Ummah the passion and enthusiasm and action is influenced by the non-Muslims and their media . Yesterday it was Bosnia and Chechnya, and Kashmir, Palestine today it is Kosovo. As long as the non-Muslim media is giving coverage we become and remain engaged, but if they don’t report or stop reporting then we also forget and move on. Not realising that people are still enduring and struggling and may need years and decades of support to rebuild their lives. The struggle and difficulties do not end once the cameras stop rolling.

Yep the non-muslim’s have been the game changer. During this conflict. Some of them posting and sharing relentlessly with dozens of posts a day.

As for Muslims some have been very active, but many others with huge platforms or followings. Are as active as they were prior to the whole conflict.
If they were posting one post a day, they are still posting one post a day. If they were posting two videos a week they are still posting two videos a week on the Channels.

As for the non-Muslims they seem to be going full on, when they can’t find something to share, they just reshare what they posted weeks ago. Being as engaged as possible and ensuring that the they do not get outworked by the Zionists on activity.

Sami al Hamdi the political analyst is always good to listen to for his positive outlook. Here he and Ustadh Abdel Rahman Murphy. Discuss “the Benefits of Trials” based on the title of a book written by a 12thcentury Scholar Izz Al Din Abdus Salaam. (May ALLAH have mercy upon him)
In relation to the situation in GAZA.

“We arm wrestled but he brought a towel because he is not allowed to touch us women. For them, women are sacred there. A woman is like a queen.”

This is one of the reasons the released Israeli captives, are not allowed to speak to media. They completely quash the rape and atrocity propaganda.

The short video in link. And compare that to how Palestinian captives are treated.

Bismillah.

Whilst we who are living in comfort, thousands of miles away. Are having our Eemans shaken. We must remember that ALLAH is through his infinite mercy is showering the people of GAZA with Sabr and Hilm. So much so that I have read non-Muslims posting that if there are a Chosen People Of God then it’s the Palestinians.

The following show of defiance exemplifies the spirit of the Palestinians and their defiance and resilience in the face of oppression.

As a Palestinian Medic says
“ By ALLAH even if their is no one left to bury us, we will never compromise”

Hamas, Islamic Jihad reject Egypt’s ceasefire proposal: Report

Hamas and Islamic Jihad have rejected an Egyptian proposal that they give up control of the Gaza Strip in return for a permanent ceasefire, according to a Reuters news agency report that quotes two Egyptian security sources.

“Hamas seeks to end the Israeli aggression against our people, the massacres and genocide, and we discussed with our Egyptian brothers the ways to do that,” a Hamas official told Reuters.

“After the aggression is stopped and the aid increased, we are ready to discuss prisoner swaps,” he said.

An Islamic Jihad official said separately that any prisoner swap must be based on the principle of “all for all”, which would require the release of all Palestinians jailed in Israel in return for all captives held in Gaza.

Hamas official denies rejecting Egyptian ceasefire deal

Izzat al-Risheq, a member of Hamas’s political bureau, says in a statement that the group has “no knowledge” of the information published in a recent report from the Reuters news agency.

Earlier, we reported that Reuters, quoting two Egyptian security sources, said that Hamas and the Islamic Jihad had rejected a proposal to give up control of the Gaza Strip in exchange for a permanent ceasefire.

“We reiterate that there are no negotiations without a comprehensive cessation of aggression,” al-Risheq said.

“The leadership of the movement seeks with all force to stop the aggression and massacres against our people completely and not temporarily. Our people want to stop the aggression, and do not wait for temporary truces and a partial truce for a short period, after which the aggression and terrorism will continue.”
