The UAE isn’t part of any version of the “Greater Israel” idea, so it can easily stay friendly with Israel without feeling threatened. Israel doesn’t want their land, so the Emirati leadership doesn’t really care what happens to Israel’s neighbors. As long as they keep things normal and keep pampering Israel, they stay safe and get treated well. Honestly, they have no shame about it. They don’t like anyone who speaks up for Muslims and even back right-wing groups in Europe or fund mercenaries in places like North Africa and Sudan to protect their own interests.
The only thing that could really keep the UAE in check is if it falls out with Saudi Arabia. If that happens, the UAE would probably start talking about caring for the Ummah just to challenge Saudi Arabia’s image as the supposed leader of the Muslim world. Not that Saudi actually leads or genuinely cares about the Ummah either, but at least it would be about optics instead of the UAE openly cozying up to Israel the way it does now.
Defense officials reportedly told Israeli lawmakers that an international force that will help stabilize Gaza following the two-year war is likely to include troops from Pakistan.
According to a report in the Ynet news site, members of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee were told during a closed-door briefing last week that the International Stabilization Force will be made up of soldiers from Indonesia, Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
I guess Muslims who had joined their respective countries' armies with the intention of safeguarding the lives of their Muslim brothers and sisters will now be shielding Israel and Netanyahu from Hamas just because their higher-ups ordered it so in return for money.
Israel launches strikes on Gaza, reports say, after Netanyahu orders 'powerful' attacks
Summary
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed the military to immediately carry out "powerful" strikes on Gaza, his office says
It comes as Israel says a coffin handed over by Hamas on Monday did not contain the body of another deceased hostage and accuses Hamas of a "clear violation" of the weeks-old Gaza ceasefire deal
Hamas says Israel is seeking "to fabricate false pretexts in preparation for taking new aggressive steps" in Gaza
It says Israel is obstructing efforts to search for bodies in the Strip, and calls on mediators to "allow the relevant bodies to carry out their humanitarian tasks away from political and aggressive calculations"
All but one of the dead hostages still in Gaza were among the 251 people abducted during the Hamas-led attack on southern Israel on 7 October 2023, during which about 1,200 other people were killed
Israel responded by launching a military campaign in Gaza, during which more than 68,500 people have been killed, according to the territory's Hamas-run health ministry
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
