Only men over 55, women over 50, and children under 12 will be permitted to enter Masjid al aqsa on the first Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.

Many women and children among more than 200 Palestinians killed in Israeli air attacks across the Gaza Strip, Gaza’s health ministry said.

Hamas said Israel carried out a “treacherous” attack on besieged and defenceless civilians in order to overturn the Gaza ceasefire deal. Palestinian Islamic Jihad accused Israel of “deliberately sabotaging” the ceasefire, which had been in place since January 19.

The UAE is pressuring the Trump administration to reject Egypt's post-war plan for Gaza, which has been endorsed by the Arab League. US diplomats are worried that the UAE's opposition is damaging US interests in the region.

“The UAE could not be the lone state opposing the Arab League plan when it was agreed, but they are trashing it with the Trump administration,” the US official said.

The dispute underscores a growing rivalry between Arab states over who will influence Gaza’s governance and reconstruction.

Egypt and the UAE both support Mohammed Dahlan, an exiled Fatah figure, but they disagree on Hamas' role in Gaza’s future.

Israel’s military says a ground invasion of southern Gaza’s Rafah is under way and troops are pushing into the north near the town of Beit Lahiya and central areas.

At least 200 children have been killed since Israel resumed its war on the besieged Palestinian enclave this week, UNICEF says.

More than 590 Palestinians have been killed in attacks since Israel broke the Gaza ceasefire on Tuesday, medical authorities say, and the death toll continues to rise as Israeli air attacks and ground assaults intensify.

The demonstration was against the Israeli Genocide. During the demonstration about 20 or so supporters of Mahmoud Abbas, and his Palestinian Authority. Shouted slogans against Hamas.

The western media the distorted the whole event and portrayed is an anti-hamas demonstration.
