They would get turned into rubble by the western countries if they tried. And they know it, so they are content to make belligerent speeches and not much more.
But their real dream has always been the capture and rule over Makkah and Madinah.
However from the perspective of Optics. The Iranians and Hezbollah have come out the winners from this conflict. By portraying themselves as defenders of the Ummah, against the Zionist/American empire.
Whilst the Gulf states and the likes of Egypt and Jordan. Have exposed themselves as two faced, agents of the west. Even the Palestinian Authority Of Mahmoud Abbas, instead of defending their population in the westbank have instead been targeting and arresting the resistance. Even before this conflict They were despised for acting as a de facto police force for the Israelis.Whilst doing nothing against IDF or settler violence. And for their misappropriation of funds and financial corruption, happy to accept funds from the west to police and restrict the freedom struggle of their own people. That’s why the PA are very unpopular and despised.
Houthis in Yemen are Zaidi , different to the Twelvers of Iran. And I believe they are sincere.
From my understanding of what I know of them.
They have named themselves after Zaid ibn Ali, The Great Grandson Of Ali ibn Abu Talib (May Allah be pleased with them both)
Zaid ibn Ali led a revolt against the oppression of the Umayyads, And he was betrayed by the people of Kufa ( who were the forefathers of the modern day twelvers) They wanted him to renounce Abu Bakr and Umar. When he spoke highly of them and refused to do so they rejected him. The origins of the term Rafidah originated in their rejection of Zaid ibn Ali.
The Zaydis as far as I know believe leadership of the Muslims should be the preserve of Ahlul Bayt. They believe Ali should have been made the rightful Khalifah, but they do not curse Abu Bakr or Umar or denounce.
And because Zaid ibn Ali rebelled against the corrupt rule of the Umayyads. They believe fighting and opposing corrupt rulers, as Wajib.
Catastrophic Hunger: Gaza is experiencing an unprecedented hunger crisis, with 80% of its population facing famine or catastrophic hunger, the highest rate globally.
Widespread Malnutrition: The entire population of Gaza is suffering from hunger, including pregnant women and 335,000 children under five at high risk of severe malnutrition and stunting, which can cause irreversible physical and cognitive impairments.
Total Siege: Since October 9, Israel has imposed a total siege on Gaza, restricting access to essential resources like water, food, fuel, and medical supplies, worsening the situation caused by a 17-year blockade.
Aid Distribution Challenges: Most aid is focused in southern Gaza, but only 21% of planned aid deliveries have reached northern Gaza since January 1, resulting in severe shortages.
Destruction of Food System: Israel is destroying Gaza’s food system, including farmlands, greenhouses, and fishing fleets, leading to a significant lack of food and cooking resources.
Widespread Destruction: Over 60% of homes in Gaza have been destroyed, contributing to the food crisis and causing widespread internal displacement.
Interesting to see how Pakistan responds to these attacks. If they do nothing then that will embolden India.
It is election year in India and Modi like he did last time will launch attacks claiming to target terrorist bases, in Pakistan. To increase his popularity.
No response may not be an option for the Pakistanis.... And from what I can tell the Pakistani news channels are not reporting these attacks by Iran. No doubt the Pak military has ordered this news to be censored.
On a lighter note.
Tommy Robinson the right wing Islamaphobe. Not being the sharpest tool in the box has launched a campaign on Twitter to have Imran Muneer who does the Mad Mamluks podcast ,deported and I presume have his citizenship removed.
Only problem is Imran Muneer is an American and lives in Chicago.
Can anyone explain the following.? Now we all know aid is not getting through to GAZA, even aid being donated by Governments and United Nations and World Food Programme has been stuck on the Egyptian side of the border for weeks.
The hospitals have run out of medication and are on the brink of collapse, people are now facing starvation.
So what is Hijab doing here? By posting a video of a battered old ambulance that was clearly donated before this conflict. Trying to imply it has recently been donated.
Anyone posting links for donations, for Palestine and claiming they are getting aid through is not being forthcoming.
As for those who are posting be clear that money is being collected and aid will be delivered when opportunity arises in the future. And once the Egyptians and Israelis fully allow it to cross into GAZA unhindered.
Otherwise by these kind of tactics all you are doing is providing propaganda for the Israelis, "we are allowing aid through such and such celebrity influencer, is saying so, and accusations by United Nations and international aid agencies about restrictions in Aid, by Israel are baseless"
Instead raise your voice and your influence to speak out against the barbaric blockade. Don't try to pretend there is no blockade and you are getting aid through.
Justice is served by accountability and power. Without power, justice can't be served. Sword shows authority, including the power to punish injustice. It creates a balance between theory and practical.
These muslim majority countries were occupied in 1924 but 100 years later are free and so will be Palestine one day.
