Dear Shaikh,

Assalamoalikum, my wife has levelled allegation on me for looking pictures / profiles on non maharam females on facebook. I admit having searched and seen for some of the female profiles on Facebook but not with an intention to flirt with them but just as a curiosity to see where she is these days and whom she is married with or any other reason of the sort. Do I owe an apology to my wife for this or she has no business with what I do on Facebook and mere a repentance and asking forgiveness from Allah SWT should be sufficient. I mean have I violated or negated any of her obligatory rights over me by doing so. Please advise. Jzk
