Asslam u alequm!
some days ago i was being told that in sunnat ghair mokkada prayers, asar and esha prayer, you should read durood too in the 2nd rakat, and then in the 3rd rakat start with Thana again.
i wanted to know weather is it true method or not acc to hanafi fiqh?
and what about sunnat mokkada prayer's method?

(salaam)

Yes, this is true for the sunnah ghair-mu'akkadah 4 rak`aat prayers.

.... For those that are non-emphasized sunnas, one follows the tashahhud in the first sitting with sending blessings upon the Prophet (s.a.w.) before standing for the third rak`a, which one then begins with the opening supplication (thana`) and seeking refuge (ta`awwudh) before the basmala and Fatiha.
