I use them quite often, and lately they haven't been as quick to respond. Probably because of the backlog from prior to Ramadan.

The incident in question is reported by Imam Ibn ‘Abdil Hakam in his Futuh Misr.
What happened was that a son of Sayyiduna ‘Amr ibnul ‘As (radiyallahu’anhu) -who the governor of Egypt at that time- had whipped a local coptic.

This coptic came to Madinah Munawwarah to complain of this.

Sayyiduna ‘Umar (radiyallahu’anhu) summoned the father and son (i.e, Sayyiduna ‘Amr and his son) to come all the way from Cairo to Madinah so that the coptic could get his justice

(Futuh Misr; Kanzul ‘Ummal, hadith: 36010 & Hayatus sahabah, vol.2 pg.148-Dar Ibn Kathir)

This is one of many incidents regarding the high level of Justice thatIslam promotes.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best,
