Salaams brother.

If you miss Jummah salah by the time you arrive at the Masjid then do you just say your Zuhur salah and do kazzah Jummah salah OR just Zuhur salah?

If the time has gone then you do kazaa otherwise not, but instead of Jumma you pray Dhuhr.

Also many masajid in the UK do more than one jamaat for Jumma, might be a good idea to know their timings.

[quote]Walaikum assalam,

I pray that you are well.

It is obligatory to perform Zuhr prayer within the time if Friday prayer is missed with excuse or without (in which case it is sinful and also requires sincere repentance). If one fails to make it up within the time, then one must make it up (as a Zuhr prayer).

[Shurunbulali, Maraqi al-Falah; Ibn Abidin, Radd al-Muhtar]

And Allah alone gives success.

Before posting questions, please see the Q&A section of MuftiSays or search on islamqa.org

See also the Hadith in this regard

www.muftisays.com/forums/76-the-true-salaf-as-saliheen/63...

There are different rulings on what to do depending on which rak'ah are missed. Please follow the above Hadith from Kitab al-Athaar of Imam Abu Hanifa.

There could be situations where one may only catch the last sitting etc. The Hadith will explain in this case.

Since enough evidence has been provided and we are not to discuss things further, the thread will be locked.
